The singles didn't do much for me by themselves, but the whole album really works. A lot of replayability here. Great evolution for the band.

That was a great read. I still just assume any details I hear about the band are a ruse. Hopefully one day we will get a complete history.

Same boat, but that second variant definitely works for me and it’s already sold out, too.  Good for Translation Loss and Irepress.  Always assumed they’re relatively unknown, sadly.

I’m just glad you came to your senses about Mudvanye. 

I saw Burial Waves play their first show tonight. Members of We Were Black Clouds, a bunch of other bands, and  fronted by Kyle of Pianos Become the Teeth. They were pretty good, not quite as refined as PBTT, but I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye on them for an upcoming EP/LP (they played 6 songs over 30 minutes) or even catching their next show in D.C. if you're in that area. They opened for Slow Crush and Grivo which was a no brainer for me to attend.

WTF does that even mean? They didn't like the whole album and just because they aren't some fanboy you feel the need to put them down for an honest OPINION?

Increased time, effort and cost. They aren’t amazon. Can’t blame them for pushing the whole thing. Now what they could do is offer to let people choose to wait or to just receive the bad slip case version now with no corrected case shipped later. But they don’t seem to want to compromise their vision.
