Haha, sometimes. I've been back a number of times though and it is, in fact, strangely proportioned.

I haven't been to the cafe next door yet but I hear it's pretty awesome. Last I knew one of wifey's friends worked there too, and it's literally 2 blocks from my apartment. I don't know why I haven't been there yet. The bar on that block is awesome too. I went there one time after eating a bunch of mushrooms. The bathroom is reeeeeeally oddly proportioned.

You'd be surprised how good non-traditional colored glasses actually look on a lot of people. I never thought I could pull off blue glasses, but these quickly became my favorite pair that I own. I also have another pair of these in tortoiseshell.

Yeah, that track sounds super good. I'm just starting to get back into DOOM again. Missed out on picking up Born Like This when it came out, and haven't picked up the JJDOOM stuff yet, but I snagged a good deal on Viktor Vaughn - Vaudville Villain the other day and have been stoked about DOOM stuff again lately. Thinking I may go ahead and start a legit MF DOOM collection soon.

They have some really good deals in there sometimes on used stuff, and new stuff is always reasonably priced. They have their own in house label that puts out some stellar stuff. BUT The thing I like most about the store is the vibe though. It's so laid back and the staff is super nice, if slightly stand-offish until you talk to them.

So, vinyl hasn't been announced for this that I know of, but I've yet to see a DOOM release without a vinyl issue yet! From Pitchfork: DOOM and Bishop Nehru's collaborative album under the name NehruvianDOOM is finally coming out. It will be called NehruvianDOOM, and it's due out September 22 in the UK and September 23 in the U.S. via Lex/Noizy Cricket!!. That's the album cover up there, designed by Ghostshrimp. After releasing the video for "Darkness" a couple of weeks ago, they've also shared another new track, "Om". It features rapping from DOOM in addition to Bishop Nehru. Listen below. Good deal + credit = the besttttt! Read a couple reviews of this record that said it was SUUUUPER distorted. Decided to cancel my order, even though I love it.
