I think most folks would gladly order from anywhere else if someone else would get the rights to some of the tough to come by releases they've been putting out.

On a more helpful note, discogs is typically going to be your best resource looking for info on specific variants, and whether something is legit/a counterfeit/bootleg. These songs are fine, but I imagine if they had fun writing them we'll see a full length in the nearest future that likely features these songs. I'm not too upset I missed out on this.

I dont want this to be like...a lecture, you're an adult and you're gonna do what you do anyway. Anyone who is considering doing this, make sure you're still living within your means. I pay for just about everything on credit to get cash back, but I also never buy anything I couldn't just afford to pay cash for. That way I can pay the item off immediately and not even have to worry about interest.

I didn't repost anything, it was the first post for that retailer and at a lower price than any other and I was the one who posted the links in the other thread but thought it would benefit people if the lower priced option had its own thread, which happens for many releases on a regular basis. You "addressed me about the mods" in a thread in which people specifically talked about mods and moderation on the subs and more specifically about affiliate links. Again, you're an absolute clown. 🤡 I sent you a screenshot of literally the same album from the same retailer, just different variants all right in a row like 5 or 6 times.

Those buyers are mostly short timers or infrequent buyers though. There are a ton of people on this board alone who are probably going to buy this at that ridiculous price and it's straight up price gouging. If Deathwish, RFC, Polyvinyl, etc can sell single LPs for $25 or less (or even better Dischord at $18), a major label printing more copies can obviously do it for less. It just seems silly to me to normalize" this the way you did by saying, "well, thems the breaks," when someone acknowledges the outrageous price. How are people new to the hobby going to learn if no one teaches them?

It's incredibly rare that I pay $30 for any single LP anymore. If people stopped buying shit and just accepting it as the "new standard" prices would regress. That's how capitalism works. Vote with your wallet. Buy from smaller labels.

It's still $30 plus shipping for a single LP. I get the point you're making, but also by not adding anything, remastering, or doing anything special this should be $20-25 max.

I've got some extra Cottonelle I'd part with if the price is right.
