  1. I think you are on to something. Bake's "comedy" was always punching down and he would go on those long rants about how fascism is cool and, if you don't agree, you are less of a man.
  2. Pretty sure fungi is WAXXX playing some character that he imagines is a cutting critique of the stereotypical VC Hot Topic scene kid and playing his own aggressor to prove some point about how liberals are the true violent aggressors. Otherwise, a random scene kid who signed up to the forum on Friday night and has already been trolling other threads really hates WAXXX and wants him to be lit on fire for no reason.
  3. bake your whole schtick of acting hardcore and calling people losers is getting old. learn a new trick.
  4. You should never use a used dryer sheet that wasn't sterilized in a lab.
  5. The good news is that in heaven it's legal to rent vinyl records; the bad news is that there is no need to consume food or earn a salary in heaven, so you can't pick #cooking or #work as your vibe.
  6. You are sort of forced to spend over $50 for any of the 15% or 25% discounts to outweigh the $9 shipping fee. Every time I think I'm getting a deal, I match my cart on Amazon Prime and I am usually saving maybe 8-10% overall but no 2 day shipping. Big haul or no haul, IMO.
  7. hardworkinghavaneserecords is an available username on eBay.
  8. Introducing QROOVE (pronounced "groove", inexplicably spelled with a Q), a new listening platform that delivers an innovative vinyl experience with a modern ease of use and a visually-strong design and marketing aesthetic. Each month, a dedicated member of our QROOVE QREW (pronounced "groove crew", for some reason the second Q is now annunciated as a Q) curates one new hand-picked vinyl album-of-the-month subscription for you, selecting from companies like VNYL, Vinyl Me Please, QRATE, Vinyl Moon, Delicious Vinyl, The Drop, VinylLoop, and other vinyl subscription services. This month's album-of-the-month vinyl subscription service is REQORD (pronounced "re-que-ord", just roll with it), a new listening platform that delivers an innovative vinyl experience with a modern ease of use and a visually-strong design and marketing aesthetic. Each month, a dedicated member of their REQORD SQUAD (pronounced "re-que-ord s-que-AH-dee") curates 12 of your top iPhone voice memos as voted on by the RQORD QMMUNITY (pronunciation unknown at this time) and presses them on to heavy virgin vinyl. Note: The FKA Twigs and Vampire Weekend albums shown in the graphic below are for educational purposes only and will not, at any time, be a part of any vinyl subscription service you ever sign up for, whether it's this or any other service. Get your #QROOVE on.
  9. Another copy of Scott McMicken's LP found its way into the label web store: http://piaptk.limitedrun.com/products/529423-archives-12-10-lp-sale This time it's only $100.
  10. Would you waltz into the library of congress or the Antiques Road Show: Vinyl Edition with seam splits on your generic sleeves? Not if you wanted to walk out of there with an official gold-foil stamped certificate of Mint Condition authenticity. This is the kind of quality assurance we should demand from a four-employee screamo label in North Carolina. But if they send us a second copy that is in slightly better shape so that we can sell the first one on Discogs and make our money back, we are totally cool with that too.
  11. Instead of getting a U-Turn, I would just wait and save some money until you can upgrade to having all your favorite bands perform live in your living room on demand.
  12. No mention of only handling/listening to records in a sterile laboratory setting? Nothing about surfactants? How can they expect any beginner to benefit from their article?
  13. "It's been a while" bump! I'm currently working with brand new LP cardboard mailers and adding two new extra cardboard stiffeners to each package for extra protection. My shipping turnaround is same or next business day (sometimes I ship on Saturdays). I provide tracking for each order. If you request it, I can throw in some random self-made artwork inspired by your chosen records.
  14. I returned my beautiful green Daisy because it had a hole in the middle and the guy at Hot Hopic apologized profusely. He said it might have been an accident in the warehouse.
