The Target exclusive came out nice.  Everything beyond that is hot garbage imo.  I don't understand how you need 6 band members to make music this mediocre.  I told myself not to buy this record after hearing the first single on SNL, but here I am, questioning whether I can stomach side 2.  I guess I've made it this far, so here goes................

Finally got my email. 15 mp3 files, a 500x500 album art, and the digital booklet. which is nice, but the other stuff is a bum for $10. on the final track right now and justin vernon is still godly. this one sounds like it could have closed folklore, too.
 
the iphone case is for 12 pro too, but how much more am i actually going to drop on taylor this year? fucking yikes
 
and the burning question: how many of these felt like they belonged square on folklore and how many could have been throwaways? if someone wants to release a double album bad enough they'll do it, but when RHCP did, they literally said "Here's the tracks. make your own record." which is a good thought imo.

Just through my first listen and its quite good. Glad I grabbed #2 and 4. 
Though it starts to drag a bit at the end/second half, could have shaved off 15-20 mins and been perfect. 
 
Standouts were exile, my tears ricochet, mirrorball, august, illicit afairs and epiphany. 

VMP variant is probably my favorite so far. It’s really interesting cause it has this sheen to it, and also these ripples that make it have an illusion of texture. Really cool. Has those lavender / blue / purples that you see on a soap bubble. I think it fits really well.

This album was reissued as a single LP last year for their tour and it's my understanding Merchbar is selling the remaining stock, exclusively.... I missed out on the first round last year (sold out within a couple days, I believe) and received an email notification of them receiving a limited quantity (as of yesterday afternoon the 24th).
