  1. Aaaaaaaahhhhh! Yessssssss! Can't wait to get the crap kicked out of me in the pit when these guys play Asheville in September. Go easy, young whipper-snaps!
  2. Super stoked - one of my all-time favorite bands. J is my spirit animal.
  3. Meh - the LPs do look pretty incredible, but with the exception of the Courtney Barnett cover, I haven't heard anything from the preview tracks that merits $145.
  4. I saw them at the Grey Eagle in Asheville last week, and the merch was kind of limited. Didn't see any t-shirts. As for LPs, they had Dream Balloon, Mind Fuzz, and Nonagon Infinity (I think they had Quarters, too, but I definitely remember seeing the others) There wasn't any Murlocs merch. Some local artist did a silkscreen for the show (x/45) that was pretty sick, and I grabbed one before they sold out. Show was totally bonkers - heavy on the new stuff (Nonagon medley, Mind Fuzz medley, The River), with a Head On/Pill encore. My 2nd Gizzard show - out of control!
  5. Just found out about this (8 a.m. EST) and ordered the deluxe Flightless with no issues. Got my confirmation e-mail and everything. Website must have been glitchy last night. Debating the ATO order, as well - Is the vinyl that peach/red color? Doesn't say anything specific about the color in the item description, so I was curious what y'all think.
  6. Nas was 20 when "Illmatic" was released - still blows my mind on the regular.
  7. Just realized that the Gary Numan track was the sample for "Where's Your Head At?" Really excited to hear WAND's take on it.
  8. yeah, they rule - live shows and press releases are notoriously preachy, but the payoff is worth it.
  9. I dig it - On the Ty side, it's nice to hear some of the stripped-down "Sleeper" tracks with a full band behind them. The KT side is good, but I saw him a few months back with Ex Hex, and his set there was WAY better than what they put on the split. No songs from BMS, most are from the self-titled album.
