just got back from lakewood with my exchange. finally got the gold/yellow and the collection is complete again. and yeah, its not a bad record, but i feel after TWBTDOU they could have done a lot better

yeah, im really bummed about the production because mcternan is one of my favorite producers and he has been great on all the other recent ones he did. dont know what happened on this one i tried to exchange this at the close HT that has vinyl but they didnt have any in stock and didnt want to give me credit because an exchange will be easier so tomorrow i get to call/venture hot topics in the LA area and see whats what

the fuck, i got an email back from HT customer service and they said all the copies are in black. is yellow just a myth?

i opened it because it was billed as being on the yellow vinyl so i didnt even think about it. am i going to have any luck returning/exchanging it? i usually wouldn't care but i already have the black and need the yellow for completest purposes

also, even not as a money issue, "the lawrence arms" name is theirs to decide what represents it. it should be up to the band want they want out there (and how many of them) with their name on it

TWBTDOU through and through is 10x the album mutiny was, they expanded their songwriting and starting pushing themselves into new bounds lyrically. the new one seems like they took about 8 steps backwards. i've heard they were writing this one to be more like mutiny but it seems like they went backwards even past that.
