Update from Matt: 9/9/14 Remember that long-awaited Earth Analog vinyl re-issue of Downward is Heavenward? Well I do, and it's really still happening. Just need a minute to get to New York and get the original analog masters and get some lacquers cut. And a shit load of dimes. Will advise.

If you look diagonally from left to right/top to bottom, each row has the same 7" color.

I just snagged a new copy of The Mars Volta's Octahedron from Amazon for $28. Not bad for being out of print. There are two sellers who are constantly trying to have the lowest price, so they keep getting cheaper by like $.03 each day. As it is, there are maybe 18 left between the two if you're looking.

You're right. I thought one of the sites said slip cover. If you can't remove that thing, that's a bad design choice. Why would you want to cover up the majority of that cover?

How to Destroy Angels - Welcome Oblivion had a couple extra instrumentals on it. The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness had a completely different track list and two extra songs.

Does it bother anyone else that there are a total of 6 color variations for these two records but there's no indication of what they'll actually look like? Custom Ice? Custom Orange? How about a Custom Picture?

Did anyone get their's yet? I'm wondering how it turned out.

What was going on with TDAG? I had to deal with the Dear Hunter - Act III, but Merch Direct was awesome about it. Really, I just want to see the options that will be available rather than just getting "colored" vinyl.
