I think you could move 500 without issue but 1000 might be pushing it. I'd love to get all their Deep Elm stuff on vinyl. I think Trying to Figure Each Other Out got the vinyl treatment but nothing else. Their best work, by far, is on DE. hey, you've worked with deep elm, right? have they let you press anything less than 1,000? they told me they want 1,000 and only 1,000.

send us a signal is militia group. deep elm's licensing prices are much better. and i think send us a signal has a more polished sound and some great songs, but dial in sounds was kind of their peak, and i know for me, it means a lot more and played a big part in my life.

how many people would be interested if i pressed "Dial In Sounds"? this would be a dream to press. im just worried there wouldn't be enough people interested to sell 1,000 copies.

my white whale is smashing pumpkin's machina II. (per my icon). only 25 copies, all hand made by billy corgan. released to band members, close friends, a few members of the pumpkins online community and a couple radio stations and/or rock clubs. only once has it ever showed up on ebay. the bidding reached $10,000 and the seller (Q101, in chicago) decided to take it down and cancel the sale. none have surfaced since. now THAT is a while whale. i'd also like pedro the lion's "the only reason i feel secure" and i bought "the moon is down" but it was in horrible condition, so i returned it. still looking for that.

i know a guy who graduated from my high school two years before me. i was back in town for thanksgiving and he was working at a grocery store (for minimum wage).

i'm missing bazan in chicago tonight, perhaps ill make the trek out to champaign tomorrow night.

i think it should be pressed in a totally different way, so the original 7"'s are still as rare and collectable as they are. something like a 10" in a normal sleeve with the real coverart.

i know, right! I have Trying to Figure Eachother out, and the Let's Call it a Day 7". I really want Dial In Sounds. Fallen Star Collection and Send Us a Signal would be awesome. I'm quite surprised Hello Control didn't get pressed. But I really fear they have broken up, their newest album was supposed to be out in July... never happened. They haven't toured in forever. But once I start pressing vinyl next year, Dial In Sounds is probably the second or third record I'd do, lord willing...

No it doesn't go for that much only recently there has been a spike in prices, for some reason. Pedro records always go for more around the holidays. It goes in the $20 range for both colors of both records, historically. well i've been looking for those for a while, and i bid on them all the time, i never go over 35 for them though, and i've always missed out.

by the way, thanks for that. hopefully i actually get it in the mail. the japenese have screwed me before... but not usually.

usually goes for more like $50 on white or gray. Same for Hard to Find a Friend, which went for about $40 last night, but it was a horrible listing, no pictures, no condition, no paypal.

always get this weird fruit+marshmellow eye-shaped candy from graveface records and other stuff as well. once i got a used condom. nasty.
