yo everyone, my band, Hafner put out our first LP this month. we recorded in December with Tim Green(Melvins, Fucking Champs, Karp, etc.). we got 50 records pressed on Gold vinyl and have about 25 or so left after our record release. there are also 200 more on Black. wanted to share it with you guys first, just in case it's your jammer. for fans of Fugazi, Melvins, Jesus Lizard and stockier baseball players. hafner.bandcamp.com also, if anyone's in the Bay Area, we're playing August 7th with Hornss at the Honey Hive Gallery and August 27th with Fortress at Bottom of the Hill. peace.

this is fuckin' bullshit. everyone who ordered that 'limited' edition glow-in-the-dark record(still available) on the day it came out should get 2 flippin' bonus 10". there ain't a damn store anywhere near San Francisco that sells dis shett. anyone else sniffin' a great ploy to make all hardcore fans and completists buy yet ANOTHER copy? great marketing team, Spoon. keep it up.

The band plays music together, so to say that the drummer is not in time, or not in the pocket is silly. Doesn't matter if anyone's on time if they're all hitting together, which they are. If you're a stickler for traditional 'heavy drumming', mayyybe they're not for you, but music for me is about character and I back the Pelican drummer 100% for not being some standard expectation of what a heavy drummer should be. I don't even question it. His style is unique, so wrap your flippin' head around it and enjoy.

I have some stuff for trade as well(see below), but wouldn't mind finding a lot of stuff from these bands for a decent price.
