  1. if anyone has second thoughts on that art version, i will buy for $45.
  2. can someone hit me with the detes on this latest Big Business box? i got the text but alas, i'm no longer a very important person. haha. luv me some Biggy Bizzy tho! whooya!
  3. i'm recommending the store BEHIND record man. no idea if the two are related at all, or if it even has a name, but if you haven't been, i recommend going if you're on the peninsula. i think their LPs are flat-rate, like $5, and quality shit. i ended up with like 4 or 5 not so common Boss records, and some 80's punk stuff.
  4. the record man in redwood city is so so, but i've had a lot of luck with the store located directly behind it. LOTTTA good stuff like you mentioned for good prices. vinyl solution in san mateo would be worth a stop as well. more new stuff, but tons of weird used records, tapes, movies, etc. as well. in the city, there's no better record store than Thrillhouse. 1-2-3-4 Go! would be a close second. PS i've lived here my whole life.
  5. i'll take some koz of your hands. lookin' for deals on: Ghosts of the Great Highway Tiny Cities April Benji (blue) and a bunch of other shett. pm if you're tryin' to sell.
  6. dude, there's a buy/sell/trade section of this forum. also, to anyone actually considering this shit, there are three on discogs, starting at $50 bux. https://www.discogs.com/Dave-Bixby-Ode-To-Quetzalcoatl/release/1830796
  7. what tha hek? who the hek is this guy? i should know? songs are pretty bomb.
  8. i hear you, i do. and i read the whole thing you wrote earlier as well. i think you have very valid points. my position is simply that the label consistently puts out boring music and instead of improving that aspect, they come up with marketing, subscription-based strategies so that they sell you the crap whether you like it or not -- ie. how is there a waitlist before it was even offered for sale? inquiring minds wanna know! you're right, if someone more interesting was doing this, i'd be all over it, but yeeeeesh to MOST(and that's kind) of the records these guys put out. i hear you, i do. and i read the whole thing you wrote earlier as well. i think you have very valid points. my position is simply that the label consistently puts out boring music and instead of improving that aspect, they come up with marketing, subscription-based strategies so that they sell you the crap whether you like it or not -- ie. how is there a waitlist before it was even offered for sale? inquiring minds wanna know! you're right, if someone more interesting was doing this, i'd be all over it, but yeeeeesh to MOST(and that's kind) of the records these guys put out.
