  1. We are excited to announce the upcoming release of two soundtracks on vinyl, via our label Eastern Glow Recordings. Pre-order here: easternglowrecordings.com/shop The Endless is a supernatural thriller hitting select theaters this April (theendless-movie.com/). Torey's Distraction is a documentary that Jimmy scored in 2009, available for the first time on vinyl. Each pressing will be 900 copies on two color starburst, and a very limited 100 copies on gold, signed by Jimmy. See listings for more details on ship dates. Please note, if you order both records together, they will ship together in the end of June.
  2. We got our records in, they look great! Die cut leaf covers, starburst vinyl. We are stoked. Going to start shipping early next week. Still time to pre-order --> https://www.easternglowrecordings.com/shop I made my first "unboxing video" as well. Cheers!
  3. Most of the fun stuff via Pledge sold out fast! BUT... if you look around the site of our new imprint label, you may find some more fun things... http://easternglowrecordings.com/
  4. 5. BOOM! Not sold out ... yet. Not sure what's up with that... must have been a temporary glitch with our shopping cart company.
  6. next year for sure... probably around May, maybe a bit later depending on when the new record comes out.
  7. sorry, not these ones! but bring yours to a show and we will gladly sign it with love notes and lipstick marks.
  8. So, not only did Sub Pop hook up the previously mentioned grey/clear/black marble re-release a few months back, but our German label City Slang repressed their version as well. This one is on 180g White vinyl, and has alternate artwork. We brought 3 home from tour, and have another 50 on the way. Those ones might be cutting it pretty close for Christmas... but you can pre-order now: http://albumleafstore.com/collections/holiday-sale This pressing was limited to 500. It's a bit cheaper for US customers through our site, but still costs a pretty penny to get em out here... European customers can go directly to: http://cityslang.frocksteady.com/shop/music/in-a-safe-place-lp-38208.html
  9. yeah that's a trickier thing when you figure in managers and fulfillment companies takin their cut... hence our conundrum and yes let's assume you like the band... We really want to press this... but when you figure in the tiny margins, and that shipping will be at least $3-4 (assuming we can find some cheap 7" mailers), we are getting up around $7 on the merch table, and $10 if you're ordering online. Not like the good old days of $5 seven inches...
  10. People! How much can we sell a 7" for these days? It would be limited edition white vinyl. A-side would be the new single, B-side would be an extra track that didn't make the album (and would be vinyl only for at least a year or so... maybe forever?). What would you pay for such a thing!?
  11. Finally got In A Safe Place coming back into print. Making 200 copies available in our online store. You can also get them through Sub Pop. We are told these Loser Editions will be silver/grey, somewhere in there... nobody is exactly sure yet. 50 signed copies available as well. Order now, shipping by September 25th. Woohoo! http://albumleafstore.com/collections/new
  12. A really weird fun record featuring Brad from the Album Leaf, along with Pall Jenkins of Black Heart Procession and Three Mile Pilot... and a ton of other San Diego rockers. First pressing limited to 500 records. Black Vinyl. With a hand-drawn/stenciled dust sleeve. Official release date is September 11th. Orders from the kickstarter will ship when the campaign is complete (Sep 4) https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/420683402/no-wrong-no-rights-new-record-from-mr-tube
  13. oh and we have word that In A Safe Place is finally on it's way to getting repressed by Sub Pop... supposed to have them towards the end of the year... finally!
  14. hi all. we added a stash of signed Forward/Return LPs to our store. signed by Jimmy. no extra cost. http://albumleafstore.com/collections/vinyl there are also just a few more Seal Beach signed LPs available too... about 5 at the moment, but there 20 or 25 signed copies of each color of F/R. cool!
  15. Hey Dudes! Yeah we totally forgot about the vinyl noise on the first track for a while. Pretty funny! Needless to say we are bummed on the pressing plant we used, and won't be going back in the future.. they've given us the silliest, most pretentious run around about the scuffing. Basically they are saying I (and apparently all of you as well) am/are taking the vinyl out of the sleeve incorrectly, resulting in the scuffing. I mean... wow. I even sliced a jacket and sleeve open around the edges, gently peeling the layers away, and guess what, the record was still scuffed! Luckily they all seem to be playing and sounding fine. Just weird and a bummer. We will most definitely be using a different manufacturer next time around. Yep, Brad
  16. Our dear friend and long time collaborator Pall Jenkins has launched an online store and put some pretty rare stuff up for sale. 7's and 12's http://www.palljenkins.com/music/?category=Vinyl Test pressings and super cool rare expensive stuff http://www.palljenkins.com/testpressings/ Support the dude, he rules. Cheers!
  17. as previously mentioned. you guys are great. thank you all so much.
  18. Hey Dudes and Ladydudes- For the first time ever, 2003's Seal Beach is on wax. Pressed it up ourselves. DIY or DIE. Black vinyl, full color printed sleeve inside of a full color printed jacket. $16 + shipping We have 50 signed copies for sale, also for $16, they are going fast. (but don't worry, we have 950+ regular copies that should be around for a while) The only way to get to them for the next day or two will be this link: http://albumleafstore.com/collections/seal-beach So far we've only sent it out to our email list, and posted it here. We are facetweetspacing on Monday. You guys here on these boards have been super supportive on the last few things we've done (forward/return, perils from the sea), so thank you. We appreciate it. Also, for anyone who might be a record store owner/buyer/employee, we have set-up a separate password protected distro online store. Please contact me at [email protected], if you own a store and want to buy at wholesale prices direct from us. Ok cool. Vinyl, yeah, so rad that people are supporting it... it's really fucking awesome for us dudes in bands. Thank you.
  19. we add tracking ($0.23) and insurance ($0.80)... and probably too much cardboard that pushes it just over a pound... and also costs us more than $1.25 in packaging... maybe insurance is for wusses!?
  20. . Ahh. Well, yeah media mail is like $4 and change, and we ship with about $2 and change worth of cardboard... So we came up with $6.50 for shipping. If that's too steep for ya we understand. Honestly we are still figuring out how to properly run our online store since we took it over ourselves a few months back. Trying to charge as close to actual costs for shipping and packaging as possible... Anywho, we'll be toting the record around the states when we tour next year... Hopefully we'll come through your town!
