  1. Considering that Rough Trade doesn't charge until the item is shipped, I suppose there's no harm preordering them.
  2. Well, I've made my stink about it so I'm not gonna raise anymore. I'm glad a portion of you on here are enjoying it. I just feel that if you are going to have books, I think you could have talked/shown a bit more about how the town has been doing these past 25 years instead of small glimpses/references and then we're taken somewhere else which honestly seems to do nothing besides spread out the cast at this point in the show. This show is definitely for the hardcore Lynch fan who is happy for the ride. And I love some good Lynch too but I'm getting nothing out of this work compared to his previous works. The approach, style, editing, and script (if there is a long one or not) that he did for this season just doesn't seem that great. I don't need stuff to be spelled out to me but also don't try and make me feel trolled with long ass broom-sweeping scenes, repeating scenes almost shot by shot, characters staring at something for a good 5 minutes with no dialogue that's not in the Lodges, and make the claim that's it's good 'art or smart commentary on the patience of mainstream audiences'. As mentioned before, there are more avant-garde directors out there now and Lynch doesn't feel like he's bringing it. And yet, I'm gonna keep watching because of the long wait we have had for this. But I'm not gonna say this tops FWWM or S1 and early/late episodes of S2. But at least the music is owning, amirite?
  3. While I do like unpredictability in my shows, it has to be good as well. Please don't lecture people on not following the plot cause they're not 'getting it'. In fact, the plot so far can be summed up in a pretty reasonable paragraph. What has this show done is let Lynch loose with everything that he wants to do. It's great that he can do this but this has caused this actual small plot to have 'padding' when I feel that he's underutilizing the lore and the previous cast in order to showcase newer characters, locales, long ass scenes, and band showcases at the end of every episode. I feel this isn't Lynch's best work. And yeah there's still classic TP stuff but it just doesn't feel as rewarding as I was hoping because of the plodding pace of the show and how spread out certain plot points are intil they reappeared episodes way later. Even if you watch this 'movie' in full, this season feels exhaustive at times. And really this show's ending might end up in a church like LOST at the rate it's going.
  4. You know it's a bad thing when you have to have two books to explain what the fuck is going on with Season 3. Honestly the slowness and weirdness isn't Good Lynch. It's supremely mediocre stuff. Nicholas Winding Refn does boring shit but makes it visually interesting at least. Most of these episodes are being filmed so bland. Episode 8 was everything I wanted out Lynch but now, he's content with making old characters show out with no sense of character development (mostly off-screen) for new characters that are starting to feel like they take up more screen time than they should be getting. This show doesn't even care to try to ease off with that. Nope it's content to beat you down into submission that Lynch is right and you're just not getting it when in reality, it's bad writing and editing.
  5. Pre-ordered...now have my two favorite vaporwave releases in HOME and Shoppe. #blessed
  6. Idk about how you are all feeling about this season. It's honestly been a drag especially when I'm watching GOT S7, which is bringing everything that we have seen up to this point for crazy payoffs. Meanwhile Lynch is content to subvert our expectations but in the worst and most indulgent ways. Every episode continues this spiral of denial that this show will give me anything satisfying at this point other than that bonkers Episode 8. No matter what though, this season's music has been killing it and you will all love tonight's musical guest.
  7. For those wanting to hear eerie shit, listen to Dean Hurley's (part of Trouble) new release, which includes tracks and sounds we've heard already: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyPn4fCzLaA3zxBt-rzGesLtJzL7A21YI
  8. I mean since you live in LA, you can always pick it up at their gallery but woof, talk about a premium upcharge there. Then again I'm spending alot on Persona 5 sooooo....
  9. Highly doubt that there are only UK exclusives. Odds are BM and other US stores will have something.
  10. And so it begins....do I get these or wait for Mondo's?
  11. I put a sentence on that note section stating what I wanted.
  12. You can probably shoot him a message asking about that.
  13. Btw, I got a Vault Boy edition of the Fallout 3 vinyl I'm letting go of if anyone is interested.
  14. As much as I like Akira, not sure I was into the soundtrack as much although this vid gave me a chuckle about it:
  15. Lol the salt being thrown in here. You know I might just get this due to 911/Lonely. It's probably one of Tyler's best songs ever in my opinion.
  16. In all honesty, this is his best release since Bastard and Goblin. Will never be as good as those but it's a welcome change of pace.
  17. Got a couple things for sale. Willing to work with Fallout 3 price. Chromatics - Drumless $25ppd Symmetry (Johnny Jewel) - The Magician $13pdd Inon Zur - Fallout 3 OST (Vault Boy Edition) $80ppd Gorillaz - Humanz Deluxe CD $10ppd
  18. They're honestly one of the best in terms of replies. Just send them your issues with the records. Pics are helpful as well. They're speedy when sending new copies etc.
  19. Nice man! Happily acquired the variant at the con! Also nabbed a Tong Last of Us print and Contra as well. Btw, I asked Mo what happened to Portal. He says it's gonna happen but they've hit a snag though he wouldn't divulge what it was clearly. Also asked him if they were gonna do a Samurai Jack theme song 7". He says he wants to as well but CN has been harder to work with apparently.
  20. They're gonna have to set up a mail order quick cause how many of these records can they sell in a day realistically?
