  1. Selling a few of my records because money is a bit tight and don't really listen to them anymore.

The sleeves are a little beat up (since the records have been on a shelf and not played, you can see the shape of the record on the front sleeve. Also some slight bent edges) but the records them selves are in good condition.

All prices include shipping and only shipping in the US. Paypal only. Message me with any questions.

    Lights & Motion - Reanimation | 2xLP 150g ----- $25

  3. I have a Debut III and about a month after I bought it (used I might add) the motor was making a really loud noise. It still worked but even with the dust cover it would make an annoying buzzing noise. Luckily it was relatively cheap to replace and pretty easy too. I've had it about a year now and it works perfectly. Keep in mind that the platter is 10'' so any regular size LP will hang over the sides .It isn't anything major but something to consider. I don't know how much the website is selling it for but I got it used $200 and with the motor replacement that ran an extra $50. Still not bad for the quality and sound of the turntable, even if it is considered entry level.

    Good luck!

  4. I have a Debut III turntable, Art DJ Pre Amp and a set of standard speakers. For what ever reason the left channel cable that comes from the turntable to the pre amp keeps cutting off. I would plug it in and about a minute later the sound from the left speaker would cut off and won't come back until i unplug and plug the cable into the pre amp. Is there anyway I can replace this? I tried to find the parts online but I couldn't find them. I'm hoping someone would point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

  6. In fact, if I remember correctly, these motors were so bad that they stopped using them altogether in their new models. So if you do buy a new one, make sure it's the old style motor because the new version doesn't work with the voltage/amperage/something-about-electricity-that-I-don't-understand in the Debut III. Got mine off Needle Doctor.

Yeah I looked into buying a new motor. The one off NeedleDoctor did it say just debut? i couldn't find one specifically for the debut iii

  7. I recently purchased through a friend and used Debut III turntable. Huge upgrade from my AT LP 60. It sounds great! Up until the motor started making noise. This was shipped to me and it was packaged well, but i noticed that the transport screws weren't put back when I opened the box it came in. Is there anyway I can get this noise fixed with out replacing the motor? I can't really describe the sound through word so I put up a little video of the noise:

All the help would be appreciated!

  8. Saw this while searching through Amazon one day and it really caught my attention. I know Pyle is one of those brands that you should stay away from as far as turntables go, but for $68, its got quite a lot.

    Here's a link to it: http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-PLTTB1-Professional-Belt-Drive-Turntable/dp/B00009V3TU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1424223674&sr=8-1&keywords=pyle+turntable

For those who don't want to click the link, i'll provide a run down of the turntable and also some of my opinions.

    1. This is a completely manual turntable from the looks of it. It doesn't have a cue lever, which I found interesting.

    2. 33 1/2 & 45 rpm as expected.

    3. It has an S shaped tone arm and it's weighted! Shocking I haven't seen one so cheap with it being adjustably weighted.

    4. Adding to number 3 it has adjustable anti-skating which is nice.

    5. Adjustable pitch control, again, couldn't find that in a cheap turntable.

    6. Doesn't come with a built in amp.

    7. Includes a strobe light to see the markings on the edge of the platter.

    8. Last but not least, a dust cover, as expected.

Other than the fact that it's made by Pyle and it's ugly as hell, it doesn't look like a bad turntable for $70.

What are some thoughts on it? I'm interested to see where everyone stands on it. And if you happen to own one, provide a small review? The ratings range from 4-5 stars on Amazon.

    Thanks everyone!

  9. The KD 2055 is a big step up from your LP60 which I'm guessing you already know.

It's a vintage table so condition is everything and the $100 one may or may not be the best buy.

It does have an advantage over some of it's contemporaries in that if you are at all mechanical you can make new armboards for it and fit a different arm on it.

Being a proper turntable it won't have an on board phono stage so if your amp or receiver doesn't have one already you will need an external one.

Cool! thanks for the response. I guess it would be best to look for one of these locally then? It sounds like a very delicate machine. More delicate than others at least. The guy i was looking to buy one from live in oregon and I'm in texas haha

  10. So i'm looking for a new turntable because my Audio Technica lp 60 is starting to make weird noises when the motor runs and the platter starts spinning. nothing major just a small hum but its about time i upgrade anyway. I was searching through eBay and craigslist and came upon this guy selling his KD 2055 for $100. another guy with the same one selling of r$150. I did some more research on the turntable but I haven't seen any good response from it. If anyone owns one how is it? I hear its very well built but how does it sound? What cartridge are you using, amp, etc? Thanks!

Also, i know I'm gonna get a lot of flack for buying an lp 60. It was my first record player and i owned like 2 records at the time and it was almost 2 years ago so please save your comments for another thread thank you

  11. Need some extra cash and I don't spin these very often so looking to sell them. All prices include shipping. Thanks!
