I’ll take it over the singles compilations they used to do, if only for the Lucy Dacus 7”. But yeah, definitely not doing anything to justify the price bump. 

I see the Vault price is going up $10 per package ($15 outside US/Canada). 
 

My annual subscription just renewed, so thankfully I dodged it for a year. But unless they up their game, blindly giving them $70 per package is going to be a big stretch for me. Some of the recent ones have been worth $40-50 max in my opinion.
 

For $70, I’d want to see at least a 3LP, plus 7” or DVD, plus a proper extra (meaning not just photo prints or other paper).

I think everything they put out (all at these crazy prices) sells out quickly and goes for even more on the secondary market. It’s not for me, but there’s definitely an audience for what they do.

Came in a decent mailer with the extended sides to protect against corner dings, and LPs are in top shape. I’ve seen others say they use flimsy packaging. Maybe true for single LPs, though I’ve ordered  from them before and don’t recall the packaging being bad (or at least, there were no issues).

What OP means is that the jacket for Landscape Tantrums isn’t really a jacket, but rather the size and thickness of a printed inner sleeve. Flimsy. 
 

The set is nice in a bubble, but is a disappointment/overpriced at $500. The comparisons in my collection are the Paramount Records boxes that Third Man did (far and away better quality and more interesting sets for $400 each) and the first edition AOF box (reasonably comparable to this one for less than half the price at CAD $250). So clearly a lot of pocketed profit here that could’ve been put toward a higher-quality product, more extras, etc. 

For the rest of you waiting, mine was finally handed over to USPS today after nothing since 4/19. Another week until it hits the east coast, but here it comes.
