  1. And half as many as that “Mystery of Love” 10”...
  2. This line: http://www.bagsunlimited.com/category/958/180-gram-record-supplies Don’t get why they market them for 180g releases (standard sleeves usually work fine), but they’re great for larger releases that aren’t box sets. I personally use the polyethylene ones with resealable flap.
  3. Yes, the outer sleeves are PVC. I always replace these for pic discs, but recently checked some of my other PVC’d LPs and there is definitely an odor and some chemical interaction with neighboring poly sleeves (they get kind of rippled). Records seemed fine, but long term, I don’t like it. I’m now storing printed PVC sleeves separately and just trashing generic ones (like these). FYI I found the stickers peel off very easily to transfer (though be careful of course).
  4. If someone in Europe wants to pick up an extra copy of the EU/UK pressing and do a straight trade for a US copy, hit me up.
  5. Any word on other merch, Justin? Specifically tour posters, so I can plan whether to bring a tube!
  6. The first one was exciting but now I’m just annoyed by this incremental, single-sided 7” approach to releasing new music. Also, for anyone ordering to the US, you can save a few bucks ordering from Dine Alone with the exchange rate (CDN$15 shipped).
  7. I only keep them when they are printed (only example I can think of other than this is Mars Volta), but will have to store them separately I guess. Thanks. Agree they are a bad choice.
  8. I know they’re annoying for many reasons, but is there any evidence they are actually harmful if not in direct contact with the record (e.g. most picture discs)?
  9. Haven’t sleeved mine yet, but I usually use sleeves from this line for something like this: http://www.bagsunlimited.com/category/958/180-gram-record-supplies Note that calling them 180g sleeves is a bit unhelpful, since standard 180g releases fit fine in normal sleeves. But these are good for anything smaller than a boxset that requires some extra room.
  10. 3LP and Cherry Tree exclusive came in today. Few notes: - 3LP includes a poster that the CT version does not - The brush stroke detail on the jacket is embossed and glossy on the CT version, but not the 3LP - F-side etching on the 3LP is boring - Download codes aren't active until Friday and do not include the score - CT colors are duller than the mockup:
  11. I had the same situation because I had forgotten to renew my membership. It expired in early April. After I renewed, the order reappeared. Also, I think they take payment when you order, so you should be fine even if you don’t renew (assuming you’re in the same situation I was).
  12. I got shipment notification from my Cherry Tree Store order this morning FWIW.
  13. Probably paper so imagine so. Difficulty was likely in writing on the tape, but not sure why they couldn’t at least do black. Something like a grease pencil might’ve been ideal. Oh well.
  14. Just got the /500 MAQ obi in today. Kind of unfortunate marker choice for the numbering. You can barely make it out. Will likely fade into nothing. No black Sharpies around?
  15. Just obi copies are delayed. My standard copies from Bleep shipped Monday.
  16. Here you go: https://www.merchbar.com/rock-alternative/bruce-springsteen
  17. eBay seller with some copies at retail: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NATIONAL-You-Had-Your-Soul-With-You-hairpin-Turns-7-VINYL-Brand-New-Single-4/362633034696
  18. Someone on Reddit posted a photo of a “You Had Your Soul With You” 7”. Anyone have details?
  19. Great show last night and just randomly ran into the band in the lobby of my midtown office building (also home to Sirius, which is what I suspect they were there for). Always nice when the universe smiles on you like that! Seeing the film also made me glad I bought the deluxe with the score. Will be nice to have those different arrangements.
  20. Setlist.fm shows new album for main set, with encore of old songs.
