Im going to check out the Marantz out cause i love the way they look but what do i have to check on it to know they are in good condition besides on how it looks?...In that price range what Other speakers would you recommend?

Ill be using it in my room. I own A Sl 1200 mk2 Technic turntable and after buying the amp im planing on buying some Pionner sp-bs 22 speakers. For phonopreamp i own a cheap behringer but after getting the speakers and amp ill upgrade it.
