Did you see The Oh Sees when they came to Detroit last Sept?

I tend to get out a few times a year.  Saw Iggy Pop earlier this year.  Have tix to see Jane's Addiction/Dinosaur Jr next month, Heart/Joan Jett (wife's concert pick), Coldplay (for my kids), Sigur Ros, and Thee Oh Sees in Cleveland in November.  Kinda all over the board on shows.

I read that ATDI were cancelling which is a bummer.

You ever make it to Grand Rapids?  They have a great record shop in downtown GR called Vertigo records.  Definitely worth checking out if you are ever over there.

How long have you been collecting?  I'm only about two years in myself. 

I've heard of Street Corner but haven't made it there yet.  Dearborn Music is another one that I'd like to check out.   There are a couple of shops in Detroit but they appear smaller & off the beaten track.  Might be worth checking out.

It's been a while since I've hit a shop as I'm busy these days but Found Sound is a favorite, then followed by UHF in Royal Oak.  You?
