I felt a little out of place the first couple of times I went to Wayward to check out records. I'm a little older and don't look the "part" of everyone else in the store, but when I dropped a bunch of cash there a couple of times, they seemed to be happy when I came in again. Actually, last time I was there, I talked about music with this girl who was working there for about an hour. I don't have a problem with Wayward Council - I just shrug off that punker thank thou attitude they might have. Agreed with about Hyde & Zeke's, too! Ch-ch-check 'em out.

The Weary Boys were f'in great! I was happy to get to see them several times. I really used to like another Austin band, The Derailers, before Tony V left the band. When in Austin, I love going to see shows at The Continental Club. Always good for the twang!

I agree! I think it was about giving us (or at least me) something to do at an otherwise boring day at work.

I got my copy today, too, but I live less than a mile from No Idea. I just got my copy from No Idea like 30 minutes ago and I live like 3 hours from Gainesville.

SideOne sent me the correct gray vinyl yesterday, so now I have an extra No Idea version. Anyone looking for one of those?

I was glad to be able to buy that Alejandro Escovedo 2LP for $8. The label that put it out, Bloodshot, sells it for $20. So, even with shipping in the giant box, I still paid half of what it normally sells for!

This is why I'm kinda bummed about the whole situation. I was able to order the VC & No Idea colors, too. If there are only 500 of each color and they have sent out some of the VC and/or No Idea colors, are we going to have the same issue when these two other places start shipping???

I sent them an email with a pic. I've dealt with their customer service before and I had a great experience with them. They took care of me. That was a small problem - but this looks like a big problem.

I had a Slurpee last night in Orlando - first one in a long time. Sure wish we had a 7-11 here in Gainesville. I do love Slush Pupies, too!
