  1. I’d forgotten about this thread! So I did go ahead and replace the cart on mine with a Nagaoka MP110 and it made a world of difference. It feels wild and open and loose and essentially hugs me each time I spin something. I can absolutely recommend it.
  2. Yes the stock is MM (as with the Shure that I've got now). I think I'm 95% sold on the Nagaoka MP110....
  3. Thanks for the help guys. To me the DL-110 sounds like it could be the way to go, however i'm worried about the MC vs MM thing. Is that something i need to be concerned with? I'm using the built in TT pre-amp and a reasonably low powered amp. Any advice there? The other cart i've read some OK things about is the Nagaoka MP-110. I'm happy to spend the extra on the DL-110, but i just wanna make sure i make the right choice here.
  4. I ordered 16 (oops) LPs on nov 11 and they all shipped together the next day. So stoked the code still worked. Can't wait till they arrive here in Sydney. I'm amazed that the shipping total was only $25.
  5. Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like the 2M Red is the way to go for now. Now you're saying $100... Where would be the cheapest place to buy one of these? I'm in Australia so I need somewhere that will ship internationally. Cheers
  6. When i was reading the reviews on the TT when i first bought it, everyone seems to say the stock cartridge was pretty crappy
  7. I recently replaced my TT with a Denon DP-300f. I'm currently using an old Shure RXT6 which I got from my old man, however I suspect that it's life is coming to an end (often gets quite a bit of distortion etc). Plus I'd like to use the opportunity to upgrade whilst I'm at it. Can anyone recommend a decent replacement cart for this TT? I understand that it's not a high-end player so there's no point in going crazy. By default my first thought was an Ortofon Red, although I've also had someone suggest upgrading the cart with a N97xVL ViVid Line. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks!
