Considering the guy used to donate money to Geoff Rickley's record label I think it's safe to say he has enough knowledge to not use a Crosley. Even if he doesn't know better, rich people buy expensive shit just because it's expensive so he probably has a pretty nice set up.
That being said, dude is obviously always and forever a scumbag.

Yes, they should.  Pretty much every other retail store that offers % off deals, takes the % off of items that are already on sale.  If you go to Kohl's with a 30% off coupon, you get that % off of full price items, sale items, and even clearance items.  Same with Kmart, Macy's, Sears, Target.
 
A "promo" code should not affect sales that they already implemented themselves.

you were fine waiting months, whats an extra few days? these records have all been out for years now... if you're truly getting antsy they're online to listen to..
