  1. ohhhhhh finally fuck yes. Converting Vegetarians is one of my favorite electronic albums of all time. I also believe them when they say it won't really follow their more recent poppier direction. Super pumped.
  2. Man you all are no fun. Yellow and Green were both awesome. Their live shows kick ass even with the lineup change, and I can't wait to hear the new album and see them play as many times as I can. Seriously Yellow and Green was what got me into one of my all time favorite bands
  3. man I wish I had the money for this. Pretty cool stuff, but more so because I love seeing interesting stuff I find online see the light of day with physical releases.
  4. year so far: Marilyn Manson- The Pale Emperor 2814- (Japanese goes here) Bjork- Vulnicura Lightning Bolt- Fantasy Empire Death Grips- Jenny Death Marriages- Salome Royal Thunder- Crooked Doors Faith No More- Sol Invictus Mutoid Man- Bleeder Team Sleep- Woodstock Sessions Chelsea Wolfe- Abyss wanted to like the new Modest Mouse, heartbroken by the sick joke of a Muse album, and generally bored of most up and coming bands like Viet Cong. Kendrick Lamar's album has 3 good songs which lose a ton of steam because of the album's "social" baggage. In my circles of friends at least. Really excited for some potentially upcoming winter records from Red Fang, Baroness, Indian Handcrafts, and a few more.
  5. I feel like the most common question crowdfunding "entrepreneurs" ask themselves is, "why has nobody done this before?". But then they never actually think to answer that question......... maybe, just maybe, if this was a legal/viable/profitable service, it would be commonplace and decades old?
  6. a note on letlive's Blackest Beautiful, the vinyl master actually sounds wayyyy better than the CD master, its just that the record sounds like trash in all forms. Which sucks cause it could've sounded pretty good, some guy who mixed part of it posted his unused versions. I think they did it to mask the intense autotune
  7. man do I wish Kylesa was opening in Boston. Weirdest but coolest lineup I'd have seen in awhile. Good thing ASIWYFA is pretty awesome too
  8. collection management would be a great addition! I'm not very interested in the Youtube features, but I would be willing to pay a few bucks to drop the ads.
  9. Hey all, found a gold smoke copy of Chelsea Wolfe's Unknown Rooms today! chelseawolfe.bandcamp.com/yum LCZF-3JN2
  10. Each Steam sale I find myself less and less interested. That being said, I grabbed Child of Light and Chivalry. Child of Light is awesome besides the uplay drm cancer, and Chivalry is just fun. I'd recommend Nidhogg, BOI Rebirth, Bastion, Transistor, and Limbo to anybody looking to get a great game cheap.
  11. Just checked this out, looks great! I've wanted a Discogs app with this kind of UI for a long time. Sold
  12. looks super lame, at least it will kill the cancer that is Spotify. Competition will hopefully improve Google All Access, especially in the UI department. Those rumors about Apple working with the big 3 to shepherd everyone into subscription streaming seem to be true, unsurprisingly. Poor Jay-Z
  13. I wish I could like Reapers, but the hard autotune and the chorus kill it. The whole "i just read 1984 for the first time" aspect of the album is also a huge drag. I'll still go when they tour though. Always a fun time
  14. Man does this album suck. Its like U2 with nonstop falsetto. How they can play Mercy and Dead Inside in the same set as Cydonia or Stockholm without cringing I'll never know.
  15. man does that sound more like Mastodon than Koi No Yokan. Hell yes.
  16. I'm pumped for Rock Band 4, nobody I know is really into playing real music anymore so it'd be nice to have the easy version around again. Easy for people to just get drunk and have fun when we're all too lazy to set up the real gear
  17. I GOT THA POWERS THAT BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB Also picked up recently: Burial- Burial Korn- Untouchables The Mars Volta- Amputechture
  18. Really digging this album, was impressed by CVI after being unimpressed with them on the Baroness tour in 2013. The pop direction seems more throwbacky that radio hopeful, sort of Fleetwood Sabbath in parts. Now to decide if I can afford this on the 7th, along with Vulnicura, Fantasy Empire, the new Marriages and the new Minsk......
  19. Buying my Boston ticket with full knowledge that Death Grips would be dead before they actually showed at a Boston gig. Pls
  20. Listening to NOTM and JD for the first time consecutively is a weird concept. If you can make it through the first 5 songs you will have a good time.
  21. Grabbed this today, definitely sounds a whole lot better then the CD ear assault, but it really kind of brings out the unprofessional mixing and editing. Fun record though, not Volta but obviously not trying to be. Just release Volta archives pls
  22. Hey I have this! Got it at a record store last summer for like $15. Its an obvious CD bootleg but it doesn't sound terrible, the cardboard is cheap but having this album in my collection makes it waaaay worth. I wouldn't spend over $25 on this one though. Besides, I'm sure the System guys are secretly planning deluxe 180g 2LP 45rpm represses, right? Pls
  23. I thought about getting amiibos, but at the crazy level they're at, fuck it. Would have been nice to have the Fire Emblem characters and Shulk for display, but not for thousands of dollars. I did snag Captain Falcon at a Target awhile ago though, and soon he will sit on my dashboard.
