Can anybody tell me how good or bad are the most recent Botch represses? I'm very very skeptical of continuing buying stuff from Sargent House, last two albums I bought from them (ERR - Marked for Death repress and Engine of Hell) are super noisy (far far worse than what you can expect from most records).

Yeah, might be an upgrade to consider once I get my own place (God knows when hahah), right now i'm super happy with my setup and since I live in a small flat there is no reason to go that big. But damn, they look incredible hahaha

How are those Forté's treating you? I'm in love with my RP-600M, but last night YouTube pushed me some videos about the Forte IV and they peaked my curiosity.

Thankfully I only had two shitty experiences with distros: MusicFearSatan - From Paris, France. Long story short: they lie to their customers. They don't carry nowhere near the amount of stuff they show on their website. I tried to buy two copies of the same record (Oranssi Pazuzu - Värähtelijä, for those wondering). Seller took the money and after three months (and of course with a paypal claim open), the guy finally answered my emails, saying he had no copies but he ordered some for me. In the end I got the records and the money back, but I had to resort to PayPal, as well as writing a bad review on their Google page. Recently I found out their Discogs profile is closed, gee, I wonder why EvilGreed - Made a joint order with some friends. All the items weren't on preorder, so essentially everything was in stock. I sent an email to EG asking for the tracking code three weeks later and got a response saying that three of the items I ordered were "ON PREORDER" when by the time I ordered them it wasn't disclosed in their website in red letters as they always do. After delays regarding the whole vinyl biz, I received an email saying one of the items (which by the way, WASN'T ON PREORDER) sold out and they had no stock available. I made the order E I G H T months ago, EG should have stock, it's as simple as taking a copy and setting it aside, until the rest of the items arrive. Now the record it's sold out everywhere and selling x3 times on Discogs. Still haven't found a decently priced copy of that record. On top of that, they are one of the few European distros that carry most, if not all, Sargent House releases.

Very jealous of ya'll for being able to see Unwound live They are coming to my city but inside a big fest (Primavera Sound), so idk if i'll try to make it or not. Was curious, anyone got a defective Fake Train grey repress as of late? I bought one locally, side A was an absolute mess. Thankfully Numero Group came in a clutch and mailed me a black copy for free after showing them the problems I had with my copy. Wish more labels cared that much about their releases...
