Got both the Waxwork and SB versions in for Lost Highway. Good times.
How is the sound quality?
I have the MOV press from a few years ago and I think it sounds incredible. I feel like this has to be the same re-master but I can't find any information about that. I really don't need another copy but I'm really debating buying one.

A little shameless self-promotion here. I joined a math rock band 6 months ago and we just released our new album. We did a pretty limited vinyl run if anyone is interested.
We've been described as being "Tera Melos for stoners" by Fecking Bahamas.

None of my local stores got in the John Carpenter - Village of the Damned score. Anyone have a hot tip on stores selling it online today?
-
Amazing, I was really hoping they'd release this on vinyl this year to celebrate the five year anniversary. I'm not sure I love the new version of Back Up as much as the original. But I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Varese Sarabande announced it was delayed to 2021
Well I've wasted an hour looking for that haha. Thanks for the heads up!

Anyone see any copies of John Carpenter's - Village of The Damned anywhere?
-
It looks like the 3000 Hostile Ambient Take over edition is also sold out. Anyone seen anywhere else to buy this?

Nice. I was considering that one but held off. Only $15 over retail so not bad.
Yeah, honestly I was bracing myself for these being out of my price range, I assumed I wouldn't be able to find it. I'm so happy though I can't wait to hear how this turned out.

Are you outside the US? Apparently these are US-only releases and they’ve been canceling any non-domestic orders that got through earlier.
Shit, I'm in Canada. Although I'm having this shipped to my US PO box and haven't got a cancellation so hopefully I'm safe.

There are still 93 Escape copies left and 121 Fog at Sacred Bones. If you have them in your cart the buttons on the product pages say Sold Out, but they’re not.
Weird, they definitely weren't/aren't showing for me on the artist page and when I click on the links to the pages themselves I get the following error message.
"This content is protected, but it doesn't look like you have access. If you feel this is a mistake, please contact the store owner."
I wonder if because I bought them already if they've put some sort of IP block on to avoid people buying more than one of them.

They still in stock.
The Waxwork variants are but not the Sacred Bones ones.

Waxwork dropped Escape from New York and The Fog this morning.
There is also a sacred bones variant for each /500
I grabbed both Sacred Bones variants and then checked 5 minutes later and they are sold out. I was waffling since I already have standard versions from Silva Screen of both expanded soundtracks but fuck it.

I wasn't huge on the single on first listen but on second listen (way louder on better speakers) I loved it. The way it ends and this being an album closer makes me wonder if this is a single edit and if the album version might have a bigger or more drawn out ending.
-
I gave this a listen today and it was great, I'll most likely pick this up if/when I can find it locally.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. I ended up ordering on amazon.ca for $20 Canadian.

I'm still waiting on the live recording from the final Bomb the Music Industry show to come out.
I listened to this on bandcamp today though and it was great! Even some of the songs from Post (an album that didn't really resonate with me when it came out) were killer. I'm going to have to go back and give that album a few more listens.

I have had my guitar in PW stereo tuning for two weeks jamming these songs. Glad to finally be able to grab this.
Link to the tuning?

Watched the second episode of Creepshow last night. It was fun/entertaining I guess but not nearly as good as the first episode.
I actually loved the second story from episode two. I thought it was super fun and really funny.
I hope the trend continues with the first story being more of a classic/creature feature type story and the second being more high concept.

PAUL WESTERBERG STEREO/MONO!!!!!!! This is one of my all time favourite albums and is one of those albums that I think I've listened to more than any other album. I don't even know why - it's not his best solo album (though Mono fkn rips) - I think I've always loved the home-recorded imperfection of it all, the fact that there's weird ambient noises, song cut-offs, and terrible drumming, which kind of made me feel okay to record music like that.
I recently made peace with the fact that I assumed this would never be pressed. This is incredible news!
Also I'm curious about the Devo live album, hopefully it's not just a straight re-press of the 6 song Live EP from 1980. Hopefully it's either an expanded version (22 tracks), or the 1996 reunion recording, or something else entirely.
**edit** it looks like it's a repress of the promo version of the 1980 recording that was given out to radio stations. 15 songs from. That's exciting. https://www.discogs.com/Devo-Live/release/2738616

Thanks a lot! I see you're in Montreal from your profile. I think we're trying to come out that way in November, I think we're trying to setup a show with Crabe.
