Where is the misspelled album cover?!?! lol the blue one a couple pages back has the correct spelling. I'm so confused. I'm just going to go back to sleep and listen to the first If These Trees Could Talk album. It's too early to spend hundreds of dollars on vinyl anyway.

It really just keeps getting better with every listen. I noticed that once I finally hit about the 5th or 6th time through, it really jumped out to me how profoundly amazing it is. I was driving home from the Iron Man Lake Place triathlon last weekend, cruising through the Adirondack Mountains with the windows down blasting thing, and it was truly an amazing, transcendental feeling. The music paired with the scenery so well. I'll remember that forever.

Where are you guys able to buy that new blue cover variant? I like that way better, and want to buy it. The link someone posted before doesn't work...

I picked up a copy of that with my Jakob order. Did you guys figure out how to save some money on getting the CD and shirt too? The CD/LP bundle was only 29.99 but the LP/shirt bundle was 34.99, but separately, the CD and shirt were both 9.99. So I bought the LP/CD bundle and added the shirt. Saved $5 I also ended up buying It Is Curtain and the first Giants record (which is SO good). Can't wait to get this stuff. ahhhhhhhh fuck yeah.

So i keep listening to this record.... a lot. I think it's safe to say that this is their best record, without question. The depth of emotion and creativity on this is just staggering. It has all the raw intensity of previous Rosetta works, but it just has an added factor of brilliance in the writing that just absolutely blows me away. There is not a weak song on the album. Every track is just !!!!!!!-quality. I still love all their old stuff, but man.... these guys hit a new peak on this one.

I just wish people would list some of the earlier If These Trees Could Talk albums for less than $80. Seems like you can't get a copy of their s/t or "AtE BtS" for less than that. $50? Sure. I'd probably pay that. But I feel like more than double for something that came out less than 10 years ago begins to start encroaching into the price gouging territory. Its tough because music means so much to people personally that its an exploitable thing... you wan to have the vinyl experience of listening to Malabar Front on vinyl? Then pay me $80 to have that experience. I kind of say fuck that, but I also do want to have that experience of listening to that material. We should just have record libraries.

Lol. I was just trying because others said there was a limit of 2. I'm probably just going to buy one of the coke bottle clears. Clear always sounds the best IMO, and I don't have a coke bottle record yet. Might get a yellow to have too, not sure.

also it lets me add as many yellow variants as I want.... EDIT: wait that's weird. You can select however many at first, but then don't click "Update" when you're on the final pay screen. I had 5 in my cart and it was going to let me pay the $167 or whatever it was, before I clicked "update" and it reverted to 2. Weird.

So you guys are buying these already? Seems odd, when the info pages aren't even working. Also, not super impressed with the musical clip, but the footage with the timpani 'n shit looks mighty promising. Also the fact that this is only 5 songs.... yessss

Just listened to Cale:Drew completely today after work. The album put me to sleep, in a beautiful way. Its like... taking a shit-ton of morphine, and going outside to sit under a beautiful tree on a warm, sunny summer day. Just pure relaxing bliss.

You guys need to put a disclaimer before you suggest Jakob to anybody. Seriously, hate you guys for exposing me to this. This is worse than when I discovered Caspian, I think.

So, when does Subsets of Sets go on for pre-order? I just discovered this gem, and am listening now. I seriously hate you all for exposing this band to me. Its like you just shot me up with heroin for the first time. ****poof**** There goes all my money....

Hey guys, so I'm good friends with this band called the Jauntee who tours around the country a lot and plays tons of shows. They have finished recording their 2nd studio album, and just released the first single. It would mean a lot for me and them if you could take a few minutes and listen. $50 for a new 2LP record is kind of ridiculous... That said, Rift is amazing and I'd like that blue vinyl. I''m going to Magnaball but won't get there til Saturday. I'm wondering if it will be sold out by then. Is it going to be the same price as the black pre-order? Also, Phish should do some select live jams on vinyl... like the Denver Ghost, the Cypress Disease, etc. That would rule so hard.

Oh man that Cecilia Eyes track is super sick. Cloudkicker is good, a little more straight up metal. My friend has been talking about them forever, I guess its just one guy who does everything.

They ignored my request too, and my Rosetta record came with a huge sliced open seam split on the top. Fuck those guys. They don't really care about condition.

Do you guys know if "Solace" by Jakob is getting repressed soon? This album is amazing, and just as good as Sines. The first track, at least. haha
