My Clear signed copy showed up in time for actual release date, which was an unexpected treat - Loving the album!

New Tape Deck Mountain is worth checking out!

That is an insane amount of money to drop on 40 minutes of music, no matter how glorious the music

Glad that I am happy with my clear with Black cover from a couple years ago, because otherwise I'd be really bummed I missed those

Anyone in Canada have recommendations?

anyways, anyone listen to that new Timelost? I think it’s pretty bad relative to their first. Hate the vocals.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to give it a listen - really liked the last one
edit: First song in. . . I hear what you mean, I think. It sounds like Rivers Cuomo on vocals...I dig the guitar sound though

I collaborations are different than splits though, and if memory serves, both Vampillia as well as Pyramids were collaborations - which worked well for sure. the one with Uochi Toki, on the other hand, didn't work with me.
The Bungled & the Botched is definitely one of my favs., as is Under the Jaguar Sun. The experimentation of the separate tracks designed to be combined was neat, but the band's mix is where it is at: https://brokenspineprods.bandcamp.com/album/under-the-jaguar-sun-chalchiuhtlicue-rain-pwyc. My first exposure to Nadja was Skin Turns to Glass, which is going wayyyy back.
Agreed - 2xlp is totally a bummer for the longer tracks, takes me out of the song.
I will spend some more time with sonnborner, it is overdue.

Passed on the Disrotted split, maybe need a few more listens....
I struggle with splits. I like the artwork though

More of the sound and tones of Tangled (and Sv... (ish).
Vocals are more pronounced than usual .Queller and Dagdrom are great. I need to spend more time with Sonnborner though

They also released a digital only album last week:

Seems like they only put out pic discs these days...

My records arrived (thankfully) unscathed. Everything looks good (flat, clean), but I haven't had the chance to spin them yet.

Whew thought I missed out, managed to get a signed copy ($50 CDN + shipping in Canada).
Ditto!

That Distressor is a beaut! I grabbed both, but opted not to get the bundle, because I know I'd flip through the book once and never pick it up again.

Listened to the live stream and I gotta disagree with the boredom. Not visually stimulating perhaps, but I thought the backlit stage with the band in shadows was pretty fitting for them. That said, I thought the band sounded amazing. Not at all a dull musical performance.

Dead Swords and Timelost are great - I'll have to check out the other two!

Can any of the shoegaze homies in here make a couple recommendations for me? Maybe @jhulud?
Looking for something like Nothing but with deeper/rougher/darker vocals. Anything good that comes to mind?
What about Holy Fawn?

Lacing is great. Seconded!

I saw them open/co-headline with All Them Witches a couple years ago, great show!

Have we talked about how great that live stream was? Dayum...

I also just received the Funeral Door LP (Soft Kill side project) the other day, still gotta give it a spin.
Which one is this? I must've missed it?
edit: nevermind, think I found it. Thanks for the heads up!
