  1. I don't think it is, went to 1 of 2 in town and they didn't have it anyways
  2. they get department of record stores exclusives. Which is only available at like 10 stores nationwide or so. They haven't gotten many so far, but I know there has been at least a few: MF DOOM "Operation Doomsday" on green /300 (I have this one, worked at another store in the same coalition), and there was an orange reissue of Ben Folds Five "Whatever And Ever Amen" /600. I'm not sure but I think there was a color run on the new Body Count album too, but that may have been all indie record stores
  3. It's hard to fit that bill but maybe Moose. If you want something newer maybe Alvvays or Field Mouse
  4. Special Explosion - The Art Of Mothering (black 20/20) won topshelf auction J Dilla - Donuts 45 (white vinyl instead of the picture disc) given by a friend who got it working at amoeba in hollywood , I don't think its as limited as some test pressings I don't have any full length though
  5. Guero, Odelay, Mellow Gold and Midnite Vultures would be excellent to see repressed, Really wish I hadn't slept on the Odelay box that came out like 4 or 5 years back, it was pricey
  6. some great obscure funk, whole album has been heavily sampled. Originals are a small fortune, but it was reissued a few years back.
  7. so are the mewithoutyou for sale yet? I guess I can just drop in and see, really looking forward to it and this variant looked to be my favorite by the pic
  8. really great mix on the self-titled. There is a good amount of surface noise which seems to be common with splatter (yes even after a wet cleaning), but its not overly distracting on this album. Beautiful package, I'm pretty content to have this in my collection
  9. high fidelity is a must have for me, it inspired a 6 year stint working in record stores
  10. I'd guess they won't miss this opportunity to do Goldfrapp "Black Cherry" for black friday. Especially since Felt Mountain was RSD
  11. RFC has black and also orange copies of jack-o-lantern up for sale again. Too bad I went to amazon a month or so back
  12. Snagged self titled a couple weeks back, that's good news though. Dude ranch and self titled are the two I obsessed over, I'm sure I'll add the others eventually
  13. I'm hoping they reissue dude ranch again, I keep missing out. I had that cd on release day, and every time I see it in the wild it has a huge price tag. I'm not picky, standard black is fine. Just do a large pressing for once
  14. Same but that's up to t&g pretty sure they own the rights and are largely inactive. I have the first and last albums but it would be awesome to see a box set with a reproduction of the library cover of engine takes to water and the stamps with tropics and meridians
  15. Was the motown story set the one with the introductions to each song by smokey robinson? Such a fantastic set I lost mine in a break up
  16. Skeletal lightning still has the half and half UK variant
  17. Yeah it surpassed my expectations. Nick Bassett continues to impress me and it's really nice to hear her vocals up front. I wasn't expecting so many upbeat fun songs, and that closer is killer
  18. Feels thick, were these 180? Seems at least heavier than standard gram
  19. Lost loves then a beer commercials tour and now this. I feel like its a nostalgia act at this point which seems a weird but effective move.
  20. I wasn't aware thanks for filling me in. Thats a shame ive always loved his drumming for them and these arms are snakes. They sounded pretty good when I saw them, but it was the infinity overhead tour which I didn't care for. They did play a good amount from the first 3 albums and a song or two from beer commercials. Small venue too was very intimate
  21. Didn't erin tate quit? Think I'm done its been a steady decline since planet of ice for me and it just seems like its cash grab after cash grab. Kind of interested in what they are doing for the ten year reissue though. Haven't got around to replacing that album yet
  22. Takk is very exciting! I've been waiting years. I just hope its a quality pressing. My agaetitis is pretty noisy even after a cleaning which usually doesn't bug me but that album has a lot of quiet passages
  23. Just got my deluxe edition in. I'm very excited, unfortunately I just fractured my shoulder and handling records is kind of a scary and painful notion so I probably won't spin it for a bit
  24. The pink and yellow 40 oz to freedom for 15 is my best score for percentage below value
