Probably because they care a huge deal about the specifics and details of their vinyl releases, and simply grabbing for cash is the last thing on their mind.

Yes, yes, and yes. I've only listened to the album [on MP3] a few times so far, and I strongly suspect it'll sound phenomenal on wax. This is what I like to hear. For a label that offers such a solid lineup of releases, superb prices, and excellent shipping costs / services... I'm baffled [and grateful] that they're still so conveniently obscure.

Seems practical enough. I believe I ordered... 30 or so minutes after you posted. Even if there's only 100 colored copies to go around [as opposed to the usual 300 I see, ala TRL], I think we're good. I can't envision 100 individuals being on the ball and scoping TRL's Facebook for this repress. But I've been wrong before. I hope that everyone who wants a colored copy can get one.

Nice, man. Out of curiosity... is there a restock notification you can sign up for, at TRL? Do they send out e-mails with distro updates? Or were you just watching the webstore like a hawk? Either way. Super late to the Maserati game, but I'm loving everything I've heard. I've been waiting for this to go up for a couple of weeks now. That new variant looks sweet, too. Fingers are crossed extremely tightly for a colored version -- I was told that the recent Young Widows repress was limited to 100 colored copies. If that's the case with IFTNS, I expect them to be gone in the blink of an eye.

On Maserati's facebook they said to expect it up on October 15. Which is this... Saturday? Is that at all odd for TRL releases? I've never been on the watch for them to put anything in the webstore, but it seems like a pretty atypical time. Very eager to grab this, though.

Variant actually looks pretty rad, based on that Hot Topic picture. I was initially picturing a black-with-translucent-black marble... and I get the impression that's exactly what it is. Should look pretty awesome when held up to the light.

Only appropriate, for a monster of an album. The second LP looks far more bad-ass than the first, but they still turned out way better than what I was picturing. Part of me is slightly regretting my "regular" Blue-Orange pre-order, but I'm confident that I'll be content with either variant. So stoked to spin this album.
