  1. And my SRC order just reverted back from Completed to Shipped, again. Hmm.
  2. Absolutely not. So long as you sell me one.
  3. Same situation. I'm guessing it'll appear either today or tomorrow.
  4. Hell of a deal, here. The two Circa pic-discs would be worth it, alone, but everything else is essentially a massive cherry on top. Someone make this happen!
  5. This song might just be my favorite GJ song of all-time. It's hard to choose such a thing with a band like GJ, but I really do feel like that one if my favorite. Agreed. I'm terrible at picking favorites, but that's easily one of the album's highlight moments for me. The entire track is phenomenal, but I can't get over that bit. And the finale of Ry Ry's Song is probably my top jam-instance on EYEWTKAS. Just as an aside.
  6. Even after countless listens, Gillette Cavalcade's narration-bit (and the bassline that steals the spotlight immediately afterward) gives me chills. Without fail.
  7. Keep at it, man. I know that you've got a pretty open mind when it comes to music. I initially turned down the band on account of the vocals, as I was rather musically naïve in my youth. Very glad I revisited them a couple of years back. I feel like they're leaps and bounds beyond a lot of metal acts, today. If the EP continues to grow on you, I can't recommend Colors and The Great Misdirect, enough. Notably the former: such an amazing audible journey. The green is a mighty snazzy color, I must say.
  8. > Implying that Oregon doesn't enjoy progressive metal.
  9. Yeah, pretty much. I think it'd be a nice touch if the official press isn't 180 gram... but other than, the lack of interesting colors and simple jacket make it a little inferior, from a quality standpoint. Money's too tight for me to be a "hardcore collector" and track one of these down, just for the sake of saying I own it. More power to anyone who's going for it, though.
  10. Assuming that they're even going to do colored variants, what are some options you'd be interested in seeing? The cover seems like it'd be pretty versatile with wax combinations... assuming that they even use the usual art. Call me spoiled, but I'd love to see 180 gram vinyl in any of these options. • Clear. I've always been a sucker for clear wax. Seems to work with any release. • Translucent amber. Just to go with the overall feel of the background. • LP1: clear ruby. LP2: clear teal. The two colors that immediately pop out and catch your eye. Pipe dreams.
  11. I'm sure you've heard it a few times by this point... but if you're anything like me - and just want a quality copy of the record, for the superb music on vinyl - then you shouldn't beat yourself up over the 500 RSD copies. I think it'd be cool to own one, but I'm kind of letting it go at this point. Especially since the "finished" press will likely blow it out of the water.
  12. Check here. Probably your best bet at this point.
  13. I don't know whether that joke is more overdone, or more appropriate...
  14. I found a CD version of the Circa Appendage.
  15. It's all about whetting the appetites.
  16. Taking the "no idea diarrhea" variant to a whole new level.
  17. Official pre-orders. When? I know there are all kinds of threads popping up about the RSD release, but let's put that aside for a moment. There have been many-a-suggestive posts [and even Facebook spottings] of an official - presumably far more accessible - press of this album. I was exceptionally happy with the way Bring Me Your Love was handled, and I get a little giddy at the idea of similar quality poured into an official Sometimes release. No doubt that it'd be cool to own one of the 500 silkscreen covers. But I think a lot of people are simply infatuated with the RSD release (and the idea of blowing $100+ on it) simply because they want the album. Theoretical spot-gloss, gatefold packaging. 180 gram colored LPs... available in a few sexy variants. Maybe some liner notes or fancy sleeves. The possibilities are as endless as they are beautiful, and the idea that everyone can make it happen for $25 will be great. Waiting on justindinealone (or anyone else) to spill the beans on this thing, since it seems to be right around the corner. Is there anyone else who'd be just as happy with a fully-fleshed press over the RSD exclusive copies? Or am I the only one? Just food for thought.
  18. I believe it. I never seem to have much luck with those quickdraw pre-orders, either. Oh well. I'm kind of glad that the news was broken to me immediately; I think it would have sucked a bit more to get a refund 30 minutes later.
  19. So in essence, there were two copies of Sometimes up for grabs?
