  1. Anyone trying for Glastonbury resale tickets today? I need two, can help anyone out if need be.
  2. This thread is pretty inspiring, love the Unknown Pleasures shelf from a couple pages back.
  3. 2 people! Yeah I'd probably put Knives Don't Have Your Back above any Metric album to be honest, really hoping she does something similar in the future.
  4. Lapalux - Lustmore Waxahatchee - Ivy Tripp
  5. Has anyone got Grow Up and Blow Away? Unpopular opinion here but it's my favourite Metric album, saw it was a limited edition release so I've decided to order it even with stupid shipping prices to the UK, can't believe I've only just realised this got pressed.
  6. Duh, I've been reading run out markings too long, I've lost my head. Anyway! Here's my collection and want list. Haves: http://www.discogs.com/user/Stuart1106/collection Wants: http://www.discogs.com/wantlist?user=Stuart1106
  7. Thanks, I've actually never heard the album so that's gonna be hard to follow...
  8. Really feel like I need Other People's Lives on 7" to complete my collection of MM records from the inner sleeve.
  9. What's the best site to use to post your collection/want list? I spent the weekend putting my collection on discogs to discover I couldn't share it!
  10. Wouldn't mind that Black Star record if anyone US people wanted a trade.
  11. Is the track listing on the wheel supposed to be in a random order? Seems kinda odd because it's nowhere else on the record.
  12. Just received mine, slightly bent down the spine which is annoying, but still really nice. Still haven't recieved Donuts ha.
  13. Seconded. I've recently just rediscovered Cloak and Cipher, so good, can't believe I didn't buy it when I had the chance.
  14. Ordered the coloured pressings of both from Norman Records, can't wait for BNOOS, it's always been up there for LCW and M&A for me.
  15. I have some really bad bootlegs which I regret buying, but they didn't cost me too much. I have The Weeknd's House of Baloons, which has spelling mistakes on the track listing and isn't even the same version as the full release, a few PJ Harvey bootlegs, Frank Ocean - Channel Orange which aside from a really poor sleeve isn't too bad. I once bought a record off ebay that was listed as an original pressing but when it arrived it was clearly a bootleg, I told the seller and he refunded me and told me to keep the record, fair enough!
  16. Depends on the quality everytime, I'm sometimes a sucker for nice packaging but it means shit if the pressing sucks.
  17. Yeah it's definitely worth a look, I usually just end up buying for buyings sake though but I kinda feel obliged to buy something otherwise they wouldn't bother to put these things on!
  18. They actually sound pretty good, sold individually though which is quite annoying.
  19. Anyone got a pair of these? They're active speakers which means I could do anyway with my ugly amp (still my first and only amp since I started buying records). I've got a black Pro-ject debut carbon turntable currently, so would be nice to have the black version of these, I don't know if I'm going aesthetic over quality here though? http://audioengineusa.com/Store/A5-plus-B-Powered-Speakers
  20. Hull, there's a guy that opens and closes his shop about 3 times a year, he did RSD for a couple of years but is once again shopless. He organises the record fairs in Hull though and to be honest a lot of the dealers are the same as the one in Leeds, only Leeds' fair is about 5 times biggers, there's a lot of rubbish but you'll always manage to pick something up. Yeah I've always been a fan of Jumbo, was going to visit Crash last year as well but they still had a huge queue after I left Jumbo.
  21. Anyone got this yet? Mine was dispatched a few day ago, signed up to VMP in February when they announced Donuts, they fucked up my address and I still haven't received it.
  22. My city doesn't have any stores that participate anymore, so I'll be going to Jumbo Records in Leeds (UK) again, it's pretty good as they do a record fair in the city centre later in the day. Main objectives are the Alex Chilton 7", Run The Jewels - Bust No Moves and the Frank OST, there's other stuff I kinda want and probably will pick up.
