  1. Got an email 20% off your order at Indie Vinyl Den today only 10/7. Code "One20" I've blown my budget on this one IndieVinylDen.com
  2. Indie Vinyl has a sale going on for 15% off as well, so it makes the 35.98 even better this morning. The code is "Brunch"
  3. The Bad- Urban Outfitters is a waste of my time as far as mail order goes. I swear they must go out of their way to bend every corner. They are fine with returns, but its just a wast of time. Order 5 records 3 go back. The the ones I send back I think they restock only to send again. ergh! Any Store that uses the square record mailers! Good Experiences- Member Store at VinylMePlease - Very few issues, always quick to respond. Very friendly. I buy with confidence from these guys. Indie Vinyl Den - My current go to store. They have gone out of their way to help me find stuff and when there are issues they offer many options. They seem like collectors themselves.
  4. Indie Vinyl has this as their daily deal today. http://www.indievinylden.com/collections/new-release-vinyl/products/lana-del-rey-honeymoon-red-translucent-2-lp?variant=7621929347
  5. http://www.indievinylden.com/products/broken-social-scene-you-forgot-it-in-people-2lp-on-limited-edition-purple-translucent-vinyl?variant=8359920003
  6. Indie Vinyl Den does this often. Sarah from there is great to deal with and has been able to on many occasions locate copies of special vinyl releases that are sold out elsewhere. They pay more to get them and charge accordingly. Their first batch was $22.99. The trick is to buy right away or pre-sale if offered. Maybe I should practice what I preach. If you see it cheaper elsewhere let their Twitter guy know and often will match/beat the deal.
  7. Daily Deal over at Indie Vinyl is Sufjan Stevens Carrie & Lowell at only 11.99. Good deal if you don't already have it. http://www.indievinylden.com/products/sufjan-stevens-carrie-lowell
  8. All Classic Indie Artist are on sale at Indie Vinyl Den for 15% off. Just picked up Elvis Costello My Aim is True Audiophile version and the B-52s. Use Code "Classic" http://www.indievinylden.com/collections/classic-indie-artists
  9. Looks like these guys have dropped shipping charges for the US and still doing the daily deals. The new Beirut is $19.99 with Free Shipping. http://www.indievinylden.com/products/beirut-no-no-no-vinyl-record-pre-order
  10. Most places will special order as well. I get a lot of my obscure preorders that way.
  11. Today's Daily Deal at Indie Vinyl is the Sharon Van Etten EP at only $9.99. Seem to be going quickly though. http://www.indievinylden.com/products/sharon-van-etten-i-dont-want-to-let-you-down-ep-vinyl-pre-order
  12. Here is the link to the UMO record http://www.indievinylden.com/products/unknown-mortal-orchestra-multi-love-pink-vinyl?variant=3822320323
  13. Just picked up a copy of Unknown Mortal Orchestra "Multi Love" on Pink Vinyl for only 13.99 New. Deal is just today it appears or until its sold out which looks to be soon. I also pick up Surfer Blood on blue vinyl in their clearance section for 13.99. they have a lot in their clearance right now. IndieVinylDen.com
  14. That's a good idea, but like this Four Tet record. There is a reason why it was out of print. It was not well received when it was originally released and its a compilation. So 45RPMs, Black Vinyl, Cocktail Recipe, Print does not equal $25 bucks. I guarantee this record becomes cheap on ebay or discogs quick like many of the other Vinyl Me Please releases have and I bet it eventually gets a regular release maybe missing some of the extra tracks.
  15. I still can't jump on the subscription bandwagon. A lot of money for what you get. Plus if color vinyl is what you are collecting, then you may as well collect old plates as they are just as colorful and cheaper. Maybe for people who have no music clue, the subscription thing is good. I see it as an overpriced way to get stuff you really don't want and all they are doing is throwing sparkly things like color vinyl, drink recipes (wtf), and pointless art prints to make you think it's special. It's not special, it's a club anyone can join if they like over spending on records. Other than that I guess they are alright I'll stick with Amazon/Amoeba etc.
  16. Just received an email for 15% of at IndieVinylDen.com. Code is Vinyl15. Good through end of day 8/20 (tomorrow) it says.
  17. IndieVinylDen.com just added a box with the slipmat and extras. Only one! http://www.indievinylden.com/products/replacements-the-the-twin-tone-years-4lp-pre-order?variant=4740794819
  18. IndieVinylDen.com has the set at 69.99, but they have 15% off today for Vinyl Record Day if you use the code Vinyl15 at checkout. BONUS - They have the Slipmat, pins, stickers, and posters that come with it!
  19. Just found some good clearance deals here http://www.indievinylden.com/collections/clearance Also agree on the Walmart vinyl, they seem to make mistakes often and you can get some crazy deals. I wish I did not hate Walmart though.
  20. Selling is awesome because so many buyers are uneducated and spend WAY more than they could easily get the record somewhere else. So as a buyer, be careful not to get sucked into a bidding war.
