I know I've seen a couple people mention having this album. I bought one a few days ago for $2 from the Salvation Army. I checked the condition in the store and it looked black but when I got it home and went to clean it, I realized it was that cheap transparent black that some vinyl got pressed on back then. It looks smokey and awesome! Anyone else have a copy that looks like this?

Thanks! The image is actually maybe a little bit smaller on the actual shirt but yeah, we like it. It's called "The Creep". Awesome. Yeah, it's mine too. I think it's a lot of peoples' favorite song by them so we're honored to do it. It's being mastered right now and then I'll put it on youtube or something for people to hear before the release date.

I have the Audio Technica table and I'm very happy with it. I don't mess with any of the DJ type features 'cause that's not what I'm in to. I just play my records at home and it's treated me and my records well.

Yeah! I started it about 6 or 7 months ago. We're having a good time.

I used to be an insane Melvins collector. I still have tons of singles and LPs, all sorts of shit up until about the Trilogy triple LP. The really limited singles and crazy packaging used to be pretty cheap. The Grumpys singles would be like $10-$20 through mail order and they would be screen printed and signed and everything. That Tora box set with 4 7"s and nuts and bolts holding it together was maybe $25 when it came out. That same release now would come out with a $100 price tag because they know people will pay it. I think it's total bullshit to make so many super expensive releases the way they do now. It seems like a real "fuck you" to the fans and I know they've always had a knack for messing with people through their music, but this is different. Make SOME expensive limited records and then SOME regular priced ones.

How do those guys sound? I've seen that one 7" on ebay forever due to the NOFX in the description. I did a vinyl rip of it...let me track it down and send it to you. I think it's great!

Probably if you're on a desktop. My laptop and a lot of laptops I think have an issue with volume being maxed out going in. So it's already a garbled mess and there's no turning that down. If you don't have any of these problems to worry about audacity should be pretty easy. You can adjust the level input there and customize it.
