From my own personal experience in collecting the past 15 years and becoming stressed out about many of the same things you are, here are some things that helped me more recently:
I try to keep my collection under 500 records, this is my own personal comfortability threshold, physically & financially. I don't want to deal with 20 Kallax units worth of records. As I approach the 500 number in order to justify buying more, I've got to sell 10-20 to make room. Usually by that point, its pretty easy to find a few to weed out as I get tired of them I used to be so worried about "resale value" and keeping them pristine. I had poly sleeves for every record and each time id take one out to play it was such a process. I threw them all out one day and said fuck it, if I'm gonna enjoy it I'm gonna enjoy it. If some asshole wants to buy one of my records down the line he'll get some wear, whatever. This decision has helped my personal enjoyment immensely Good luck, hope you find what you're looking for.

Yeah I unloaded my 2016 UK reissue for the blue pressing and I seriously regret it. Will probs switch back if I can find a store that's still selling it

Didn't consider it might be unofficial. I have the hhv.de Shades of Blue and it at least sounds great, and I also know their Malibu exclusive was released roughly around the same time as other variants. Would be nice to get confirmation from the retailer or label though
 
Description also says it "Comes on 180g vinyl with gloss dispersion varnish on matte gatefold sleeve." I'm pretty sure the current copies are a gatefold with gloss dispersion varnish for the DAMN text and the rest of the sleeve is matte. Would a bootlegger bother with these different sleeve materials just to recreate the official press?

Yeah I also called the provided number and they said it's a 100% chance of the record being signed; cancelling the sleeve order is just a recordkeeping thing on their end. They said it should be out at the end of the month and currently they are in transit to the fulfillment center.

I wouldn't consider myself a violent person, but whoever writes VMP's "The Standard" newsletter needs to be relentlessly kicked in the teeth. Absolutely the most obnoxious garbage that pops up in my inbox.
