  2. Anyone know anything or have a link to a bio of Ayalew Mesfin?
  3. It annoys me when the label is off center, but I wouldn't recommend removing it. I also wouldn't make replacements. If you remove the label or try to replace it, you'll probably decrease the value of the record. Use a razor and trim any parts of the label that obstruct the sound. Leave the rest however it happened to be placed.
  4. Sooo.... I'm heading to Naples tomorrow. I looked around online and found a place named Epic Records & Tapes. Any good?
  5. Purchased at Rather Ripped Records in Brookline, PA...
  6. Well that's about the frequency I've experienced. Almost same amount of time, and I've only received one (in the St Vincent record). If you're still looking for it, let me know.
  7. Gotcha. What's the chances of getting one? How many released?
  8. What's the frequency of the secret 7" releases? I got one for the first time recently, and I must admit, I didn't even know this promotion/program existed.
  9. 70% off vinyl at PopMarket today - Sunday Steals http://www.popmarket.com/sunday-steals/b235912
  10. Makes sense. Thanks for the run down. As for my name (VinylSandwich), I just really like sandwiches. But the relation to this discussion is uncanny.
  11. Gotcha. Well better the sleeve busted than the record. As for picture discs, I honestly didn't realize they were all the same weight. I don't have many. I'm curious to listen to BFT more and see if the audio is crappier due to the pretty fishes on it. Have you ever found a picture disc that sounded on par or better than regular vinyl? Or is degraded sound the resounding norm?
  12. Fair enough. Reading your thoughts, I suppose mine were a bit silly. Although, my Atrocity Exhibition garbage plastic sleeve isn't split at all. Maybe you need a third copy.
  13. My "signed" insert came tossed between the album and the cardboard box sort of bent up. A sticker was hanging half off the album that I suppose someone was attempting to attach the insert to the album with - failure. The other thing that shows the lack of craps given to this pressing is that the plastic sleeve was cracked and broken along the spine. I think the records possibly caused it to break - along with the general cheapness of it. I have a few other records in plastic outer sleeves that are much better quality. For example, "Atrocity Exhibition" by Danny Brown has a plastic sleeve that's holding up. Overall, the packaging is a turd. On the upside, the records are heavyweight and so far they sound pretty good (for being picture discs). Crabs in a bucket.
  14. I just got my shipping confirmation. Bring that DAMN vinyl with the squiggly looking KL on it to Pittsburgh!
  15. I have it. I don't perceive anything but excellent metal. My three year old keeps saying he's iron man. As for Betty Davis... https://www.sadtrombone.com/
  16. I just checked the confirmation email that I got when I purchased the autographed vinyl. It says, "If your order contains the DAMN. Limited Edition Autographed CD, your order is expected to ship on or around May 19, 2017. If your order contains the DAMN. Limited Edition Autographed Vinyl, your order is expected to ship in July 2017."
