  1. Lol wow I would’ve bought this, I always check VC an hour late. Thanks for sharing though. Total meme of an album, unintentionally hilarious throughout. Macho deserved better production.
  2. My copy from BV shipped from PA to Jersey City, and it's now in Seattle. I'm in NY. I just bought a book and it went from Florida, to Jersey City, and now it's saying it's in Guam so I don't what the fuck is going on at the distribution center in Jersey City but it's nothing good.
  3. Shout out to Limited Run for not being able to handle a couple thousand nerds trying to buy vinyl at the same time.
  4. They've been notified and are working on the issue.
  5. The page immediately shit out as soon as I added to cart and tried to check out. Neato.
  6. I saw Thursday open for them in Las Vegas a few years prior, it was awesome. No signed albums but I stole the big poster out of the marquee after the show. My mom sold it at a garage sale a decade later. RIP.
  7. This band puts out more variants than actual music.
  8. /25 legit gone in 2 seconds. Impressive. I should learn how bots work one of these days.
  9. Some wholesome guy let me pay him $40 for 2,000 warped Herb Alpert records, upvotes to the left!
  10. Bought an autographed copy of Townes Van Zandt's "At My Window" for $3. I'll probably never top that.
  11. Not just one, but two copies. I was moving across the country and some of my vinyl started looking less essential. I've sold a lot of awesome shit over the years that I wish I hadn't. I deserve to be shamed. I probably listened to that record a hundred times if that's any consolation.
  12. "They" as in the band, assuming they are the ones who sign off on represses. I wasn't aware that Deep Elm was a pain to work with.
  13. Are they ever going to repress Low Level Owl? Sorry if that's a redundant question. I sold both my copies a couple years ago and regret it mightily.
  14. I'm trying to get a 45 pressed of my friends music so I can give it to him as a gift. I'd be wanting 1 or 2 copies, tops. I assume you can only get lathe cuts in this scenario. Has anyone ever done this and if you got a quality product could you refer me to the place that made it for you? I've done some googling and found options but I'd love to hear from someone who actually had one made. I'm in the US. I'm looking to get a jacket with custom art made as well. A colored vinyl option would be great but not a deal breaker. Sound quality is secondary as I doubt it will ever actually get spun. He's not part of a record label or anything so would I need to worry about licensing? I'd prefer not to do that as I want it to be a surprise. Any help is greatly appreciated! Sorry in advance If this thread is too off topic, please nuke it if so.
  15. Also interested in the address, love their TMNT soundtrack.
  16. To be completely fair, I think we've all been in a situation where we considered paying someone to kill the guy from As I Lay Dying's wife.
  17. I saw them last night in Brooklyn and they sounded amazing, such a tight band and their guitar tone is so damn good. Everyone who bought a ticket got an exclusive press of the album (kind of a translucent smokey yellow color) and it wasn't sold out so I imagine they (Rough Trade) will put some of the extra copies up at some point. I figured some of you who aren't turned off by the production might be interested in that. I was also able to get my original press of the First EP signed by John after the show which made my weekend.
  18. This thread is awesome, tons of great music in here that I hadn't heard before. Here's my contribution. I heard these guys on a college radio station in the early 2000's, still one of my favorite math rock-y bands and I'm surprised they never took off at all. I feel like nobody has ever heard of them so maybe some of you will get to enjoy something new. Bad Dudes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rlN80roXd0 Full album at bandcamp (highly recommend the song "dawn of the dudes"): https://sonude.bandcamp.com/album/bad-dudes-s-t
  19. I too would like to get my hands on those video game bootlegs that I can easily flip for $200 on eBay.
  20. Did a hipster from Williamsburg, Brooklyn ghostwrite this comment for you?
