Platter is flat. Records are well kept and lay flat on the platter. Im gunna get a water level to check is my shelf is perfectly flat.

Wow you know what?! Ive been dealing with a Hum as well and cant find the source.. Ive had this table for a long time now.. I always thought maybe thats how it sounds. I dont have top notch equipment im running my pro-ject through a sheerwood $100 receiver And a pair of $50 sony bookshelf speakers. (Budget) But the whole jumping/bouncing is making me lose my mind.. Maybe my table isnt level?

This is why im askin you guys! Hahha stumped.. Like i said i live in a small apartment floors are not the best but i just cant see how its jumping that bad. I moved a few times this house made it bounce the most. Wall mount wont help you think? Theres gotta be some sort of way to reduce it..

Yes. I read the manual and followed all the instructions. Had the anti-skate and needle guard off while I balanced the arm. Had it floating over the platter set it to about 18. The recommended downforce for Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is 17,5mN. And at that DF they recomend puting the anti-skate on the middle (2nd) bearing ring. All sound good? Ill try the tennis ball trick As well

I bought it because at first I wanted it. Now that I see it in person I like my first press way better. Waxwork has gotten really lazy with their splatters lately imo.. The promo pic of the vinyl looks way better then it does in person My first press has heavy bright red splatter that if you put it to the light the red splatter is even translucent! Im happy i got the slip mat with this vinyl though. That being said i would rather trade it for something I want.. maybe someones looking to trade their records and dosent have this and missed out. No hard feelings anyone

Just re set everything perfectly. And still getting jumping. Hmm gunna buy a gauge today. I just dont wanna weigh the needle down to much that it causes damage.. I might just say fuck it and wall mount it. Im not slamming through the house like an animal. I litterally cant even walk comfortably near the turntable without it skipping Im a 150 pounds if anyone wants to know hahahaha!!

I have the anti-skate on. And i have it on an IKEA like shelf 8 cube organizer. Really sturdy surface. im gunna re-weigh everything and see what happens. Im on a budget so that might work as long as its somewhat accurate

I have a pro-ject with the ortofon red cart. I dont have anything to gadge the weight.. Any brand or something you could give me a good suggestion for?

Im not trying to take advantage of someone.. I just personally didnt like the way the splatter came out. I have the fluffy fur original press.
