If I’m honest my memory of DTR was that they were shady and did some of those bands dirty so I’m a little hesitant to give them money. Especially if they don’t have anything in hand.

Was the VMP variant posted yet? I wonder what the Artist and the Ambulance 20 year anniversary is going to look like? It'll clog up vinyl production worse than Adele with how these guys are churning out variants.

Yeah I definitely love color-in-color. I guess if I had to rate typical variant types (cause why not) I’d go: smash/swirl > color-in-color > transparent splatter > tri-color split > opaque splatter > dual-color split > transparent solid > opaque solid.

Totally. I'm not a variant collector but I do have a few albums on standard black that I bought a second time when a good-looking variant was released, like the Fat Wreck 25th anniversary pressings. I don't even think there needs to be 8 or 9 variants, just 1 or two sold through multiple distros. Do collectors generally want the rarest variant or the best-looking one?

I would certainly take 10,000 copies across 8 variants available through multiple stores over a few hundred copies across 1 or 2 variants that sell out in 30 seconds.

The variants for Silver Linings have been so over-the-top. This deluxe edition looks like it should be for a nu-metal record.

Maybe it's a quicker queue but at this point I think we are all used to long lead times so I'd rather wait and get a 12" than a double 10". Judging from the reactions it seems like people don't really want the 10" drops. I reallllllly hope GM isn't a double 10".

If the 2x10" came in 12" sleeves I'd probably consider getting them but I'm anal about my collection looking flush lol.

1234 Go Records has the SWYA repress being an LP + 10" so idk if it's 2 10" or not.

idk if I'm gonna try again, but I probably will haha. I assume this second press is not in hand and will ship in a year.

I'd honestly be ok with a 10" if it came in a 12" sleeve haha. Just so it looks better on my shelf.
