  1. I haven't heard anything they've done since their s/t release. Worth checking out the newer stuff?
  2. Either way you wait for the record. If anything, I'd think there's more "bs" involved in waiting to buy one secondhand.
  3. Wondering the same thing. Hoping for new, expecting old.
  4. Regarding the other books, East of West was great this month. I'm a huge fan of Hickman's work, and this is shaping up to be one of his best. Loved the dialogue especially in this issue. Sheltered also has a ton of potential. Great first issue, definitely left me craving another issue ASAP. The only other one I thumbed through tonight was Great Pacific, which wasn't bad, but was pretty much what I expected after last issue's cliffhanger. I just don't have it in me to give up on this one. (For whatever reason) I haven't read the others yet
  5. Is that in regards to something happening in the issue, or the fact that somebody still reads the Walking Dead? I haven't read the issue yet!
  6. Picked up all of the above, as well as America's Got Powers 1-6 for $1 a piece. Solid outing.
  7. Chew #35 East of West #4 Ghosted #1 Great Pacific #8 Peter Panzerfaust #12 Sheltered #1 Star Wars #7 Walking Dead #112 Was going to drop Great Pacific, but #7 actually started to show some signs of life. Man was that first arc a drag, though... I think there's something else, but it isn't coming to me off the top of my head. (Star Wars is technically for a buddy, but I give it a read before giving it to him anyway)
  8. After a few slow weeks for me, I've got like 9 new books to buy tomorrow. Yikes! Excited for new shit to read, though.
  9. I just hate being stuck on the task for 8 days waiting for 5 more tiles to generate. They really should've waited a little while longer before jumping the time to 36 hours.
  10. I weighed myself every single day when I was losing weight, and years later, I still weigh myself every morning. Keeps me in check, and it still amazes me I've lost (and kept off) the weight that I did. As I mentioned in the other thread, I usually just juice for breakfast, and I figured I'd throw out that one of my favorites is pineapple/cucumber/ginger. Really refreshing in the morning. (Though not the healthiest of juices, it's delicious) I tend to check out http://www.reddit.com/r/Juicing/ if I'm looking for some recipes or checking out other peoples' progress. Have seen some really good info there over the years. Good luck on the continued success.
  11. East of West isn't bad, but yeah it's kind of hard to see the direction. I'm sure the next few issues will clear things up a bit. At least I hope so. Worst case scenario, you can dump the issues on eBay if you're not feeling it. People seem to be eating it up. Picked up Lazarus on a whim last week, too. I probably shouldn't have read it so late at night, as I was pretty confused after finishing. Probably gonna reread it this weekend.
  12. I used to be a huge Big D fan, but felt pretty unimpressed with Strictly Rude, and thought Fluent in Stroll was a musical abomination. Is it worth checking this album out? Edit - Just noticed they had another album 2 years ago I never even heard about. I'll probably just save myself the trouble and pass.
  13. I've used the Prime streaming tons, love it. Has an app on all the TV set boxes, too, so I use it as a compliment to Netflix.
  14. I make money fine since I've got all the buildings/characters and a decent multiplier (I think I get ~100k from 24 hour tasks for everybody), but the 36 hour waits are ridiculous. Totally fucks up my one play a day, unless I wait 2 days.
  15. I definitely like it so far, I think it's really going to pick up in the next couple issues.
  16. I'd always like to go, but have never been able to. I go to the Phoenix Comicon every year, but it doesn't even compare. Anybody reading Jupiter's Legacy?
  17. I don't think it was Pixar, but the short before Wreck It Ralph is probably my favorite I've seen preceding a Disney movie.
  18. I rather enjoyed it. Monsters Inc. has always been my favorite Pixar film, so there was no way I wasn't seeing this one opening weekend!
  19. I'd like to know what exactly a second year gets me. Is it just another 7" and exclusive shows 2000 miles away? Or is there actually another shirt involved, or perhaps some other crap? What is in it for those who renew is what I'd like to know.
  20. Pretty much sums up my thoughts on the board these days. While I'm still buying vinyl, I feel like the collective tastes of the board have shifted further and further away from the things I'm interested in. My real life has also become a lot more crowded than it was when I first registered here in '07, and I just don't have the time to sift through all the crap.
  21. Mine is easy enough to clean, I guess it's the drying that really gets me. I hand dry it, as I don't have the counter space or a drying rack big enough for all the pieces. It's a pain trying to dry the "mouth" of the thing, for a lack of proper terminology. For the most part, cleaning is just rinsing under water (scrubbing the blades/screens).
  22. I won't do a cleanse with you, but for like 3 years now, I've started every day with a fresh glass of juice. Combining sales, coupons, and my employee discount, I managed to get a $400 juicer for under $60, and its still running like the day I got it. The only hassle about it is cleaning it after every use, though its rather routine at this point.
