Recently picked up the new Teen Suicide LP "It's the Big Joyous Celebration, Let's Stir the Honeypot" from Run For Cover. It's a really well packaged release. I managed to get the Black & Gold A-Side / B-Side / 700. Very happy with how the records look.

Hey everyone just wanted to let you all know about a new tape we just released on our label Babe City Records. Babe City is an independent label and DIY space based in Washington DC. Our most recent release is Witch Coast's the debut album "Burnt Out By 3PM." We recorded this album live on a Tascam 388 back in March in one day. In order to capture the raw live sound of the band we limited ourselves to 3 takes per songs. We're really proud of how these songs and tapes turned out. Each tape is hand painted and come with a 7-panel J-card designed by the drummer. We only made 100 and half of them are already gone. We include a bunch of stickers and temporary tattoos with every order. They were nice enough to play a venue like Ottobar and sell their album early. I just want to be respectful and return that kindness.

the album is really good. first impressions are really good, there's so many songs i can't wait to go back to. it's going to be well received.

can also confirm that they were selling the glitter edition at tonight's show. I picked up a copy. It's clear with glitter embedded. Not sure how many they had but almost everyone at the show looked like they had one in their hand.
