  1. With the push to go green and the looming threat of exorbitant gasoline prices, I believe you're going to see cyclists in greater and greater numbers in coming years. I am absolutely not opposed to modest fees to register my bicycle, or even having to obtain a separate license or certificate to operate it on city/municipal streets. A portion of these proceeds should obviously go to making more dedicated bicycle lanes/corridors. Don't see the problem at all.
  2. I will support any station that plays La Quiete on a semi-regular basis. That is all.
  3. agreed. the problem with everything mainstream is the fact that people simply dont know any better. this is what theyre served, and they have nothing telling them that they have a choice in liking it. That's a bit of a stretch, no? People are sheep, sure, but they're not idiots. With everyone online and connected and exposed to a million different points of view on a million different subjects, you can't say that music beyond the top 40 charts has somehow remained elusive.
  4. I don't get all of the anti-union shit. "Please, multi-national conglomerate... please continue to exploit me." Funny how much the have-nots have bought into the kool-aid of the haves. They're against the very organizations that try to level the playing field. That said, I have no problem with bicycle license plates/registration. In the eyes of the law, a bicycle is considered a motor vehicle; you can get a traffic citation and a DWI just like in an automobile. Makes sense you should have the vehicle registered.
  5. Sarcasm aside, I get your point. But I still think MTV should just fuck off already. Start something fresh sans stigma.
  6. With all the blogs and such, would a throwback MTV even serve a purpose? I mean, really. I can keep tabs on whatever scene I'm into across multiple continents with a few clicks of the mouse. People that want to listen to music and have an interest in hearing new and exciting things (NOT referring to Arcade Fire here...) will find a way to regardless of what anal seepage MTV passes off as entertainment. MTV should just fuck off entirely.
  7. The Saddest Landscape / Pianos Become The Teeth split is a fucking BEAST! One of the best I've ever heard.

  9. I wound up with Hanley and Reyes on one of my fantasy rosters. I traded Hanley and kept Reyes.
  10. Did whocares? post yet? I'm not reading this rubbish to find out.
  11. The only band I'd bay >$20 to see is The Beatles.
  12. I've always been a fan of Sennheisers. They should have a decent that meets your budget. In ear or otherwise.
  13. 10 will work. Just needs to be an even number.
