Ash - Twilight of the Innocents (Double LP) Should have been $28 but I got it for $5 because the girl at the Virgin Megastore was oblivious to the fact that I stuck an "On Clearance" sticker on the shrinkwrap that I took from a real clearance item. Ha ha ha.

Sigur Ros "In A Frozen Sea" boxset
manicdogbert replied to xxmartinxx's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
i've got this i'd say it's worth it to easily get all of Sigur Ros' albums (except Von and the remix album) on vinyl. The photobook is pretty cool too. FWIW, the packaging did look a little flimsy so I just keep the records outside of the sleeve "pages" yes, the track (Milano, i think) on the 10" from the Takk vinyl is included on the boxset. -

My Bloody Valentine "Loveless"
manicdogbert replied to heavyrocks's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I don't have the reissue. I have the original Creation Records press. The original didn't have a gatefold cover. Just an inner sleeve (which I'm assuming is reproduced as the gatefold). I don't think this was meant to be a "deluxe"-type reissue of the album. It's meant to be a "first time issued in the US" release since it had never been available domestically in the States. The label who reissued it probably didn't have access to any bonus tracks/outtakes nor did they have a budget to include any extra liner notes or pics. Apart from the gatefold sleeve, it was probably just meant to be a straight reissue of the album. If I recall correctly, the original cover also had "grainy" images. This might have been what MBV wanted. On the other hand, while Kevin Shields is probably a a bit of an audiophile, he probably didn't think too much about the artwork side of things. As for the damaged sleeve (the tears and the "overglueing") I would just return it to the store you bought it from. On a related note, I also have the original Creation press of Isn't Anything (with the bonus 7" single) and the recent issue (sans the bonus 7"0 and I'll have to say that the reissue obliterates the original. -

Minor Threat on colored (SPOILER ALERT)
manicdogbert replied to hickey's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
took some pictures of some of my MT sleeves. Enjoy! s/t LP, missing is the Dark blue UK press: OOS LP (2nd US, color repress, UK press and german press) this is one of my favourites, the backsleeve of the german press, incl. german songtitles: and the 2nd US press with the grey back w/ band pictures, looks soo much better than the later backsleeve nice pics. i had a chance to buy a copy of the German Out of Step with Ian MacKaye's autograph but the store I found it in kept telling me it still needed to be priced (I found it in a bin of records with no prices). I kept going back every few days but gave up because they never got around to pricing it. -
PM me with an offer. I'd be interested in a trade but Recordnerd is still down so I don't know what you have.

If anybody's interested, I put together a trade/sell list. There's not much in there at the moment. Also, feel free to look at my Music Collection list as well. I might be willing to sell/trade some stuff from that list. My buddy at work got his yesterday and I knew it was going to be a bad idea to watch him open it. I really wasn't planning on buying it. He opened his at 11:45am and I was back at my desk ordering mine by 11:50am. Damn my weakness.
