and as far as this stuff, I'm not actively looking to sell it. I don't need to. but if it makes my move a little easier and I can repurchase some of them down the road, then so be it. if not, no harm, no foul.
 
with that said,  i did my homework before putting anything up, and almost everything is either cheaper or equal to any copy currently available (of these particular pressings) including shipping. that's pretty competitive by definition.

I don't think people on here always expect to score records here "at or below cost," although it's not out of the question. But I think people come here not to expect to pay current market price premiums when they could easily just go to discogs or eBay and find those records for those prices. momentumlost could have just stuck to discogs and been another seller trying to get $250 for that circa album, everyone interested in these (or any) albums has them in their want list anyway and gets emails on a daily basis when they pop up. But instead he made a thread here trying to get the attention of the community for "hard to get" records that are going for what they normally go for on those sites, and therefore got a little shit for it. That doesn't make anyone here an asshole IMO. no harm, no foul really. Just standard VC responses.

How can you open a dispute for non payment if you've already been paid for the item? What he is refusing is to pay for delivery plus sig confirmation again. You can't open a dispute for that.
 
You're better off refunding and reselling.
 
What is going to happen if you dont is one of two things:
 
1: You resend without the confirmation you want and he either gets it and it ends or he gets it, says he didn't, and gets his money back.
 
2: He just opens a dispute about non receipt of item and gets his money back anyway.
 
 
This guy isn't worth the hassle and while you need the funds, you'll be better off in the long run.

This is the current state of this forum. If you aren't "helping someone out" by selling your records at or below cost, or well below the current market price, then you're either asking too much, a flipper, or an asshole. 
I'm not justifying this person's prices (this is an extreme example), but this is a practice becoming all too common around here. 

Maybe he's in for the lulz?
