Happy release day! It is an actual miracle this album exists. We have been working on this thing on and off for about 5 years now. I’ve never been more proud of this band and the people in it. Truly, this is our favorite record we’ve done.   We did this nearly entirely ourselves—with Dave Klyman at the helm. Matt Poirer mixed the hell out of this and Ian Bennett made it louder than an airplane. Big thanks to Justin and Dom for handling our pressing and merch. Thank you to Rusty and the Terrorbird Media team for getting us on the radio, and to Casey at Dark Secret Media for tirelessly lobbying the entire internet about the record. And lastly, thanks to The Gradwell House and Retro City Studios for giving us a place to work that truly feels like home. It has been an insane, difficult couple of years for us. That was pretty forgettable. Idk this band just doesn't come off as authentic anymore.

Here is an update on my The Wonder Years collection. I've been collecting their stuff since I first heard the band in 2010 and The Upsides helped me make some serious life decisions. I justify this because I love supporting the band that helped me change my life for the better. Some of these have been pretty tricky to find and I still have a few more to go but I got some free time and figured I would do it anyway. I don't collect Test Presses only because they are way too expensive and I could never get my hands on one let alone all of them.  Also, for the record releases, I count it as one variant so I don't have multiples for The Greatest Generation or The Upsides. I have gotten a TON of help from people on VC, Dead Format and Discogs so huge thanks to the vinyl community. Hope you guys dig it.

Please don't buy these represses of De La Soul...the band has been getting the shaft for years from Tommy Boy and they deserve better.

Chappelle is pretty out of touch imo. He is a fantastic comedian but to make speeches like this while also supporting people like Kamala Harris is not it for me.
 
But aside from peoples thoughts on the content, who cares if people want it. I literally have a 7 inch for fucking bug snacks lol.

This is exciting, their tour with Jack’s Mannequin, the Hush Sound, and Copeland was an all time favorite.

This record get better and better with repeated listens. I’m finding that I can’t really pick a favorite track as it flows so seamlessly. 

All four are my favorites. With In Blueberry Memories being the top.

This sounds like one of those shady business that exploits government loopholes. It seems like they agree to take and store undeliverable packages from the government/postal service and are locating the recipients and sending them bogus invoices to see if they’ll pay. It’s probably legal because this is America but I have to believe you are under no obligation to respond or engage.

this. you all need to stop crying over where your records are and focus on the shit storm that's coming.

USPS is literally holding first class, parcel,  and media mail from being sorted to slow down the mail to prove the USPS is inefficient. Friends who are postal workers told me they are being directed to not sort certain types of mail. So items are sitting for days or weeks all over the country. It's a crapshoot. Some stuff gets delivered in a normal time-frame, others not. It's a fucking mess. The GOP is doing everything they can to sabotage the election and they want to privatize the postal service like everything else they've fucked up over the last few decades.
