Seattle was a blast but exhausting as all hell - seemed like I never really had a chance to relax, especially with switching hotels/visiting family and friends. I'm sorry I couldn't find time for coffee @BuzzersonKillwell and @tarzioo_  I know who I'll be hitting up when I eventually make the move, though!
 
On the positive side, Amazon has to have the nicest offices I've ever seen (with puppers galore!) and the interview process, while long and mentally challenging, was exhilarating in its own right. Hoping for the best!
 
p.s. The poutine at Highline is fantastic (a little garlicky if you're into that), and could easily be shared with 4+ people @jonrawks

Got a bottle of Yamazaki 12 in the mail today. Tastings are getting bumped up to 4 bottles each instead of three.

Ugh drank too much and passed out with the needle on, and woke up like 2 hours later. Always a bummer, but I did it to myself. No real damage, just a couple extra hours on the cartridge. Rocking some Slowdive now, got to open the store in a few hours but its a short day today since I covered so many extra hours this week. I think I can survive 5 hours of record pricing and RSD planning

Priests sold out overnight had to buy it on discogs oh well it's only a few bucks more
 
Did a ridiculous used buy today had some crazy gems: 3rd state butcher cover, replacements "tim" and a live only promo ep, dead boys OG, first 2 flesh eaters, original straight outta compton basically looks unplayed, violent femmes, The Clash, Ramones,  moondog matinee with the poster cover, sonic youth kill yr idols 1st pressing, sealed aretha franklin, little richard, jean knight, syl johnson, o.v. wright, rain parade, REM, butthole surfers, don covay, I could go on and on it's probably going to be the most profitable buy I've ever seen

Got this piece finished yesterday! So happy with how it turned out.

Got me one of those fancy unlimited sick time jobs now!

i just used a cheap string of christmas lights and went around the kallax.  worked pretty well.

La Banquise has vegan poutine. The Reservoir may as well, I know they do nachos. There is a real decent group of vegan eats up there for sure. 

Twinkle lights are always fun, and provide a surprising amount of brightness.

Unrelated : anyone have good suggestions for turntable lighting?  The area around mine is fairly dark and I just need some mild light.  I was thinking rope lighting or something, but I dunno.

So I've gone over a year without much in the way of prospects as far as jobs go, and now this week I have not only an interview in Seattle, but a phone interview as well for a job in Denver with a company I used to work for...

Good day folks! Haven't been by to check in lately. Going back to work and getting a normal life back sure is distracting. Hope everyone is doing well. I keep downloading stuff you post on Instagram @GHOSTDRONES, and I am running that Piano Nights album on infinite repeat! Such a wonderful background for late evenings for sure... Hope everyone has a great week!

I want to go. There's just a few things preventing it right now, but I started planning it in the meantime. 

Do it. Loved it there the few times I visited, and it's the perfect mix of European/North American goodness.
