  1. I'm curious how long the self titled is going to be back ordered (seemingly everywhere).
  2. Marie Osmond is releasing her first album in 6 years. This will mark her first vinyl release in 27 years. The last being 1989's "Steppin' Stone". Vinyl edition to be released as an Amazon exclusive: 8/5/2016 http://www.amazon.com/Music-Medicine-Autographed-Amazon-Exclusive/dp/B01CZ5LZII
  3. I ordered this from the Urban Outfitters website...says backordered until 3/7/16
  4. Can anyone comment on the sound/mastering? I'm hoping it's not just CD audio on vinyl and has frequencies beyond 44.1khz
  5. Kevin Gray is well renowned in the mastering community. Known as one of the best. These should end up being the ones to beat. They can replace my Hot Topic copies which I'm almost 100% sure are 16 bit 44.1 khz audio printed on vinyl (pointless).
  6. I know this is an ancient thread. However, I'm hoping some of you may be able to chime in on the best-sounding version of this album on vinyl. One would assume it would be the original Interscope release in 1995 on black vinyl. Does anyone have that one. If so, would it be possible to A/B with any of the 5,000 reissues? I've searched the Steve Hoffman forums and most noted that some of the colored reissues suffered from "swooshing" (typical) and many were cut too quiet. If anybody can offer advice it would be much appreciated. The options on this one are endless and I need some help narrowing my selection.
  7. I've not seen spectral anaylsis but many have presumed that the Hot Topic Enema Of The State is CD sourced due to an edited lyric in one of the tracks. I've ordered Greatest Hits. I'll do a spectrum anaylsis once I get it. Edit: I did a spectrum analysis on the Cheshire Cat vinyl reissue. It does not have a cut off at 44.1khz as I would expect it to if it were CD sourced. I can post screenshots if anyone's interested.
  8. There are a few of these that I was considering. However, it seems that the general consensus here is that these are simply CD masterings pressed on vinyl. Can anyone confirm that? It seems like it would be such a waste to not master them for vinyl
