  1. thanks for posting that.. Was hoping to eventually get the deluxe but had to grab it at that price.. fantastic album especially with how nicely the whole package was put together.
  2. has anyone heard anything about the possibility of a Stubbs The Zombie soundtrack?

  5. I was actually looking into this a bit not too long ago and supposedly they make some sort of muffler for shop vacs that is available at Sears and maybe other hardware stores? I think I am going to just make a quick box though kind of like this http://www.finewoodworking.com/workshop/video/build-a-simple-box-to-muffle-your-shop-vac.aspx.. It would be cheap to make and if you do not have the tools to cut the pieces yourself you could always get them pre cut at a lumber store as well. After that everything would just go together somewhat easily. Thanks again though guys, I think I am going to go with the mk3.
  6. The few diy options I saw were much more intricate and time consuming then this one. I am liking the simplicity and countless ways to customize it myself. Thanks for posting that, I am going to greatly consider that option as well now.
  7. I have looked around a lot the last few weeks trying to find the best option for my money. I have been collecting records for a long time but always kept it old school with mostly just the discwasher and a few home remedies. I was told Spin Clean was great by a record shop and was set to buy that until I did more research and now I am heavily leaning towards a vacuum setup. For the most part I have dwindled it down to three options. Pocket RCM http://www.ebay.com/itm/151862624135?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT MKIII http://www.ebay.com/itm/3D-Printed-Record-Cleaning-Machine-Bring-your-old-vinyl-back-to-life-/151903631006?hash=item235e29769e:g:UCMAAOSwHQ9WX8LG Record Doctor V http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BEIC3DO/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=KSBZUSI9PL8K&coliid=I2X3Z5T3WFLXI2 If anyone has opinions on any of these three that have used them for a decent amount of time I would greatly appreciate the feedback. I seen the older threads mentioning this and others but I am just looking for updated opinions mostly. I am heavily leaning towards the MKIII since I have a good amount of ebay gc's to throw at it and it just seems to work really well from the small amount of people I could find talking about it but all those people mostly just had it for a very short amount of time. Also, one small gripe I have about the MKIII is the full size platter for the vinyl you are cleaning. I heard hardly anything sticks to the provided top mat but cleaning a side and then flipping over the record is still a bit of a concern if I am doing a decent amount of records in one sitting. The pocket rcm and record doctor obviously do not have that problem. If that is not an issue though, l am def. leaning towards the MKIII overall.
  8. Congrats, I am still relatively new here but it seems like an awesome place to be for all vinyl and maybe one day I will hit that almighty 3k mark. Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood I was 14 My dad had a pretty large collection already and was heavily involved in the entertainment business so I was lucky enough to already have a good amount of classics right from the start but Dr. Feelgood was bought primarily for two reasons, it looked awesome and I liked a girl who I knew was a huge fan of Motley Crue. I got to say that album was a GREAT wing man in that situation (and several others).
  9. I def. agree with that actually but I remember when he was dropping mixtapes and people were mistaking him for kayne, at that point he was pretty bad lyrically but his beats were incredible. He then got quite a bit better for a few albums and then lost anything he learned from hanging out/working with common, mos, talib and all them I guess. A great example on this new album is "Father stretch my hands", starts off as a potential classic for the first minute and I am loving it until I suddenly hear him spit this... "Now if I f**k this model And she just bleached her asshole And I get bleach on my T-shirt I’mma feel like an asshole"
  10. seriously, the album obviously had an influence on Drake but to say he would not even be an artist if not for it is laughable at best
  11. Kanye as a lyricist is mediocre at best (he has gotten better but he still has many times when I cringe at some of the wording he spits out) especially now that his top ghost writer just recently left his side because he is batshit crazy. If you value artistry over "cookie cutter" there are endless artists that absolutely annihilate him lyrically. Kanye was, is and probably will continue to be a legend producer though, I will say that. Also, most people I know who listen to hip hop do not like the 808 Kanye at all. Sure, it is undeniable it was a huge influence on music but imo in a horrible way. Most people who had success using it are mostly artists I do not appreciate anyways so while some may consider it a game changing classic album others will like myself will call it another mediocre Kanye album. One thing I will say is he does jump all over the place musically never getting too comfortable in one style which is great to see any artist do but it does not make them any more special if most of that material is mediocre. If you love Kanye to death and he is the best thing in the world to you then that is all good and dandy but that is def. not the only way to feel about the guy.
  12. Return of the Living Dead re-release is up on Amazon as well for 24.98 so def. grabbed a copy of that! Thanks for posting it. I have been wanting this soundtrack on vinyl for a LONG TIME. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CPWU48I?psc
  13. Ordered without hesitation, thanks for the heads up! 2k is surprisingly large for an autograph version, kendrick (aka probably an intern or something) is going to put in some work with a sharpie or 10!
  14. I agree, guy is a complete joke at this point. Onto the much better material like this new Kendrick though, I would love to see a vinyl release.
  15. Wow, I actually got it the same day! I am in CA but that is still lightening quick. Looking forward to giving it a spin soon, it is a good looking album though!
  16. He has some talent for sure. Very solid album thus far for sure. I sent an email!
  17. It is nothing close to his older stuff. That Kanye is sadly long, LONG gone. I am all for an artist branching out but I am just not feeling this new album much at all. Some of the lyrics on it just leave me in absolute awe that he would release them to the public (not that he was ever a wordsmith but he still had solid lyrics) not to mention that it feels more like a collection of tracks and has absolutely no flow to it like most of his previous albums did. Saying that, the album still has some good tracks but I would personally not pay for the vinyl release and after a few more listens I might keep a handful of the tracks digitally at the max. Then again, I am white so according to Kanye I should not be sharing my thoughts on this album.
  18. A moat with seals guarding my super duper sick collection of Hot Topic **!!!**STILL SEALED**!!!** picture discs is actually a life long dream of mine while we are on this wonderfully enchanting topic of sealed records.
  19. Is it pretty much the same sound quality between those 2? The orange is pretty readily available all over so I was thinking about grabbing that one soon if that is the case.
  20. Just grabbed the Whale Song! You have some great designs which is harder then it should be to find and especially at this price.
  21. You could contact the US Amazon and try a price match. It is hit and miss since they do not have to do it but I have scored some great prices when they do allow it.
  22. Items: GBP 56.36 Postage & Packing: GBP 3.08 Total before VAT: GBP 59.44 VAT: GBP 0.00 (Order Total: GBP 59.44) Payment Total: USD 90.23 idk why but it dropped to £56 in my cart after getting to the payment screen.. That is EXTREMELY tempting at only 90 dollars shipped to the us... I might try to price match this to the us version of Amazon so I can throw some gift cards at it as well.. either way nice to see this slowly dropping to tempting prices now.
