Don't feel bad at all.  Glassjaw is an awesome band and have some great music.  At least they're self promotion and merchandising is inventive, albeit frustrating.  I am seriously considering the vinyl myself.  I have been a fan of the band ever since the original release of EYEWTKAS.  Honestly, I have paid more for other vinyl records in the secondary market, but this is a hard price to swallow.  If your a fan of this band, than who's to say your wrong for spending the money though?

I think we all forget that this band has been around for close to 30 years, has toured most parts of Europe, Japan, Australia, parts of South America and is the only punk band I know of that has toured in India.  They have toured with some of the biggest bands in the genre including Blink-182, Descendents, Face to Face, No Doubt, and Bad Religion.  And their early records have never been repressed.  MxPx has a huge fan base.   

I ordered all the variants separately when they were first available, and still nothing.

I'd like to take you up on that.  I have been listening to the short clips on iTunes and looking for the songs on youtube trying to decide if it is worth dropping the money on this boxset, but it would be nice to throw this on my iPod and listen to it while I am commuting home.

A few thoughts since I am just catching up on this thread:
 
1.) A couple of these shows had already sold out. I (obviously) don't have access to their sales numbers, but the response was strong in enough markets that they nearly doubled the city count after first announcing the tour. 
 
2.) Someone said that Brett's solo albums were overpriced?!  I fucking made each of those by hand and they had some of the most unique packaging you've ever seen.  Anyone who got a copy got it for a song as far as my tired hands are concerned!

$26 bucks for a 2xLP in a gatefold jacket that unfolds twice, extends to over 4 feet long and housed inside of a screen printed, hand numbered jacket. 
 
4.) I am pretty close with Brett. He is one of the nicest dudes I've ever met. He and the band members get along so well, and a day spent on any social media shows how close they all interact (and have for years)
 

I don't think you can go wrong with any of their records.  I found out about them after frames came out, and I started with that record.  Then I went backwards.  Every single one of their records has uniquely written and crafted material that stands on its own.  I agree that the last record was not as good as previous material, but there are a few gems.  Their records take quite awhile to fully digest (which I love), yet are immediately likeable.  Thus far I have found my favorite to be everyone into position.

Just to clear up some confusion...   I believe "Speak the Truth" consists of Buddy Neilsen (Senses Fail), Daniel Wonacott (Finch), Alex Linarez (Finch), and Alex Pappas (Finch).  Last I heard, Randy Strohmeyer had moved to Boston w/ his wife and was working on opening a studio to start producing bands, and Nate Barcalow has a new project w/ a buddy of mine named Kenny Finn (Just Eleanor).  I haven't heard anything beyond the music that they already posted, but I talk to Pappas and Wonacott pretty regularly and they are both really excited about it.  I'll ask them what they are planning as far as vinyl releases go.

Not going to happen and here's why.  I have paid up to a hundred dollars over cost for records here from users on vinyl collective because of their collectibility and rarity.  The market dictates the ongoing cost and what records are worth.  Just like I wouldn't ask a member to sell me Circa Survive - Blue Sky Noise for cost (probably $25 - $30), it's unfair for you to pressure me to sell a record for less than its worth just cause you "feel like I should".  
 
Here's what I will do...    I missed the grey smoke variant by a few minutes.   So if anyone has a grey smoke variant that they want to trade for a blue marble tour variant.  I would be willing to do that.  Other than that, I will accept a fair offer based on what is appropriate. But I won't be selling this record for $25.

I was at the record release show at the Shrine in LA last night and was able to pick up an extra copy.  So here it is, the tour exclusive variant.  I haven't been able to find the press information, but ive never seen so many people walking around with vinyl at a show in my life.  And there was no limit per person.  If they only pressed 3,000 then I wouldn't be surprised if this variant sells out before they even get out of California.

First of all, I have seen for sale posts from all of you and you guys are all a bunch of hypocrites.  Specifically "batman" is the only person on here who expressed his point of view to me without a passive aggressive slant designed to shame me, or an outright "fuck you".  The truth of the matter is that I bought an extra copy in hopes of either trading with someone on here for a grey smoke variant, or making enough money from selling the tour variant to buy one from somebody.  None of you ignorant assholes bothered to ask me how much I would take for it...  You simply started a witch hunt.  I'm over it...   Nevermind, I'll give it to my buddy just because he is a big fan, and I'll just buy the grey variant somewhere.  Fuck you guys for thinking the worst before ever even asking.

Your right.  My apologies.  You are right.  You were simply making a point and I made a mistake by lumping you in with everyone else.  I'm sorry.  However, if Im a dick because I'm defending my choices from several people who are attacking me and hating on me, then I guess I am a dick.  But what else should I do?  I don't have an ill intent.  I'm not trying to scam people.  And I have no intention of treating other members unfairly, but I do feel as though I am being treated unfairly.
