It wasn't even that damaged. Just a crack on the spine and the top was crinkled a bit. I had only asked them if they had any extras by chance and was going to be fine if they said no. But they told me to put the claim in so why not. I'll take a discount

I really made an effort this year to buy way less new releases and instead try to build up my collection with releases from bands I love that I did not have yet. I realized I used to buy almost every new release that was interesting to me and then half the time by the time I got it I wasnt that interested anymore or I just never went back to it. So I'd much rather focus on bands and releases I know I love so my collection won't be full of shit I don't even remember buying. As far as records i was most excited about, I'd say the new Blink record was my highlight. That lenticular cover was especially nice. I haven't gotten it yet but I am pretty stoked to get that Glassjaw boxset as well.

Mine came in great condition thankfully but yeah that cheap mailer with no padding was terrible. Definitely should have been a gatefold as well I agree. Pressing sounds great though. Already listened one way through and no complaints here
