"Some represses of The Caretaker's 'Everywhere at the end of time' have landed and are available from Boomkat now. Stages 1-3 are are available as a set and Stages 4-6 will roll out in a couple of weeks time. Individual copies will also be sold in time. Copies are sadly limited, not by design, but by imposed pressing plant run limitations.
More copies are on back order so if you do miss out then don't worry. We are also aiming to get records into Europe, The United States and elsewhere in time and to cut down on your personal shipping costs. 'An empty bliss' and also 'Patience' will be available on vinyl again in the next months. These works have all been repressed due to second hand prices being completely out of hand."

Saw that Mondo will be selling a re-issue of the original Terminator soundtrack. It looks like it's a repress of the Milan release from a few years back. Can anyone comment on sound quality? Discogs reviews aren't leaving a promising impression.

Phil from Elusive Sound here. 
From 2015, we have had an amazing run with our label, but have decided to let it come to a close in the near future for personal reasons, work-life-balance issues and future projects that everyone involved in the label has.
We published a statement on social media, and you can read it on our website here.
tl;dr: We'll continue with a few last releases and make our way out after those. We are not quitting right away, because there are still a few nice things to come, and we want everyone to get whatever they would like from us before the time is here to say good bye.
 
Within VC, there were a few big group buys and some great discussions about our bands. I'd like to thank everyone for their support!

As far as I know Chiodos did not have one. Discogs shows about 2500 pressed in Sept/Oct, not including the pink for breast cancer awareness. 
 
The open preorder was something apparently that TFOT said they wanted to do. Unsure if that will actually be reality though.

Can't speak to this run, but yeah the original run of Punisher is pretty noisy. Its disappointing.
 

I like that idea too. But instead of a straight color, it'd be cool if it's possible to do a mix of colors like a blue and white wave (which sounds like your idea).



Someone on Alcest's facebook page shot an idea of les voyages with peacock feather filled record. I'd buy that.

Everybody hears things their own way, and I like to use one to balance things out.
 
Some people do this with expensive cables, and different pressings.
 
I can’t afford the former, but have indulged in the latter a time or two. 😄
 
It sounds like the OG US was decently pressed! I ALMOST got rid of it because of the colored vinyl thing.
 
Watch the $16.98 copy blow away the $40 Simply Vinyl. 😆

That's interesting, I'm curious how it compares to a nothing records pressing. Overall it sounds good to me but it can get really loud so I end up having to turn down the volume a lot. Chalk that up to a good DR I guess. 
 
I can see a simply vinyl copy having a more low end sound profile. I've got a couple other SV releases and they have a similar more bass to mid-ended sound. Cranking up the high ends on my speakers is usually good enough to compensate for it. 

I have it, and the colored vinyl USA press.
 
The former has some nice low end, but as some people mentioned in Discogs, it could be sourced from a CD master.
