It's definitely just as scary as a parent. That being said, I work in special education for elementary and secondary students, and we definitely try to be as proactive as possible with the most challenging students, and at least in Ontario, there are definitely supports in place for children and families with complex psychological needs. 

Planning For Burial/ Stress Waves Split 7" up now on Nostalgium Directive's store envy. Thom's side has backing vocals from Kristina Esfandiari (Miserable/King Woman). Supposed to be up for order from Friday but I noticed it earlier today and being a hardcore PFB fanboy had to jump on it.

I hope they sing about California a lot. 

This doesn't surprise me really. I appreciate the aesthetics of blown up album art and pretty variants. Also ninety percent of records come with digital downloads so you end up with a much more convenient and portable way to listen to the music anyway. I play all mine, but not half as regularly as I listen to my mp3 player. 





 

got it on CD upon release, didn't have a working record player at the time.

Saw the Birthday Suit play Camden Barfly a few years back, was a smallish crowd but got a photo and a quick chat with Rod after the show. Fantastic night all round.

Idlewild - Warnings / Promises 

The only Idlewild studio album that never was pressed to vinyl, admittedly this was around the point when vinyl sales had started to trough but it's an under rated gem.

Got my Angelic Process - Weighing Souls With Sand re-issue a day ago, haven't spun it yet, saving it for Friday night.

Based on what their website will let you see before you subscribe there's just not enough to get me to opt in. 

Would recommend Spectres - Dying to anyone who is looking for something to gamble on though, great album (I got the translucent grey when it first came out).

Thanks for all the links guys I will do some research and see what works out cheapest or try to utilize some self control and only spring for YFM and one or two other faves

Latest (pretty) vinyl I got was The Saddest Landscape - Darkness Forgives on glow in the dark red/200. Looks clear in daylight and super amazing in the dark. Apologies for the shitty photo but its difficult capturing it in "glow" mode
